Probably one of my favorite films of all time.

I haven't seen that one, but your post reminded me that I should mention Perfect Blue.

It's a really good psychological thriller, whether you're into anime or not.

Guillermo Del Toro directed this foreign movie called The Orphanage...and I thought it was great...a really good thriller that actually brings some thrills...check it out if ever possible...

I just finished watching, and I highly recommend:

Barry Lyndon

This Stanley Kubrick directed film is another home run. It is 3 hours and it might be dry for a lot of tastes, but if you love Kubrick and his style, you'll love this. The film is a period piece, but not a period piece that induces modern ideals. It is a film that really makes you feel like you're in that period. The costumes, the way the characters talk, the customs, the sets, the cinematography, etc...all VERY meticulously done and beautiful. Not to mention a FANTASTIC score.
