If you could only watch one more movie the rest of your life, what would it be.

My favorite movie of all time is either Taken or The Terminator. But if this was a movie I had to be ok with watching over, and over, and over, and over for the rest of my life? It would either be Pearl Harbor, or Peter Jackson's King Kong. Why? Because I've already seen The Terminator around 200 times. Seriously. And while I love Taken, the movie only clocks in at around an hour and a half. If I'm going to watch this movie the rest of my life I want more bang for my buck (plus I watched Taken on bluray about 10 times since I bought it. 6 of those was with in the the first two weeks of owning it. :D ) And with King Kong and Pearl Harbor I get love, action, and drama rolled into one film. Plus both are crazy long.

What about you guys?

Geez, I dunno. Probably Ghostbusters or Raiders of the Lost Ark. Or Major League. Tough call.

First one that springs to mind for this type of deal is Pulp Fiction. Anthology movie, so has a couple of different stories to make it feel like I have more than one movie, great music and dialouge, and after seeing it god knows how many times already, I'm still not sick of it, and can still get the same kind of kick I got out of it that I did on the first watch.

The Matrix. I never get tired of that movie.

honorable mentions:

The Truman Show
The Matrix
Predator
Blade

It would probably be either Back to the Future or Zoolander for me..

Hmmm, tough one.
I'll have to say either Forrest Gump or the Watchmen. I think they're the kind of movies that you can find more interesting stuff in them the more you watch them.

A Clockwork Orange

nothing.

there are movies that you can watch more then once. maybe even 5 times. but you never do it in a row. there is a space between where your brain takes a brake with other movies.

so what if i watched a movie 20 times in the last 5 years? in between i watched other movies.

there is no way that a human would be able to watch just one movie for 10 years. you would go crazy after 2-3 years.

Ah, this sounds too much like getting married... so no. lol.

Forever? You're crazy, anyone would go nuts watching the same movie forever.

Jaws. Best film ever + great rewatchability.

Jurassic Park, I've probably seen this movie over 1,000 times since I had first seen it in theaters, it never gets old. Batman/Batman Begins/Star Wars/Empire Strikes Back/X2/Platoon are the same, but not as much as Jurassic Park.

Ah, this sounds too much like getting married... so no. lol.
R u scared of commitment, Payaso? :cwink: :hehe:

I would say Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. That's the first movie that popped into my brain when i read the tittle of this thread.

first of all i must ask, taken? seriously?

It'd have to be one of the following

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Empire Strikes Back
or maybe Children of Men

The first movie that popped in my head was The Empire Strikes Back. But I've been obsessed lately with Star Wars A New Hope, and Superman the Movie. Maybe Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, or Willow too.

hmm...this is tough.....lol.

If I had to choose, it would be Disney's Beauty and the Beast or Little Mermaid. Those 2 are my favorite movies of all time, with a slight edge going to Beauty and the Beast.

In fact, I've found that I enjoy and appreciate that movie even more as a 27 year old adult than I did as an 8 year old kid. And I'm a guy......lol.

Ghostbusters. I already watch it a lot more than all the other movies I own. I'd miss seeing Jurassic Park, but considering I read the book at least three times a year, I'll live with that.
