It's not so bad.

Chapter 5 is up. I liked it, though I think the end lacked a little oomf. It was pretty intense when I read it, but the animation sort of slows down the action in the fight scenes, and then the police brutalizing Rorschach seems cut way short so you don't feel it as much as you do in the book. Plus I always imagined him screaming "NO NOT MY FACE" in this really shrill/angry/desperate way...but it sounded sort of like "Awwww man! Not my faacccce!" instead.

I really enjoy this voice actor doing The Black Freighter stuff though.

I like the kind of vibe the narrator/voice actor guy sets, it really creates an atmosphere with the moving artwork. I consider it unique from both the novel and the movie, and intend to appreciate all 3 as separate and wholly awesome entities in their own regard, sort of different ways to experience the same amazing story. t:

The man-woman voice for Roarschach's mom will work really well...in a disgusting way, as it should be.

Yeah but him trying to do a high-pitched little kids voice being all innocent...could end very badly. I mean, young Bernie is a teenager and he still sounds slightly off. I think this guy is gunna have trouble going falsetto

Roarshach's mother sounds exactly like all the other girl characters, and the man interviewing Walter has a southern accent. Oh, and lil' Roarshach's voice is...we'll you can see for yourself.

They did a good job with the kidnapper/dogs scene. I hope the movie is able to pull that off as well.

the dog scene and "your in here with me" were pretty chilling...loved the 6th chapter

Little Walter's voice was...as I had expected, but yeah I thought they did a good job with the rest. They really nailed the whole "What do you see?" "A pretty butterfly." scene. The dog flash was intense.

The end was really great as well.

So, do these come out at random? Or is it ever 3 weeks?
