He seems perfect, and is really into it.

It's funny, because a lot of Mexicans and American Hispanics really love Speedy.

Cartoon Network took him off the air for being perceived as offensive, and the League of United Latin American Citizen actually successfully lobbied to get him back on the air.

I think this movie is a good idea. Speedy is very popular among hispanics, so there is an obvious target audience and he's a character broad enough that I can see handling a feature, unlike more one-note sketches (such as Wile E Coyote/Road Runner) which work very well in a short but would likely get old in a hurry over 90-100 minutes.
