Are the players still TV brand specific? Last I heard you have to have the right one for the right player and I thought it was insanely stupid

Where did you hear that at? I haven't read anything that indicates this will be the case. As long as you have a tv with an HDMI input the player will probably work. You likely won't even have to have a 4K tv to use a UHD player. Much the same way you can use a 3D blu-ray player with a non 3D tv and a blu-ray player with a 720p tv.

So I've been doing research on my girlfriend's music agent and found out he's a bit of a con man. She's been away all weekend so we haven't been able to talk much, but I don't know what to do. That was the word on the street from the tech blogs when 4K launched. It was either the player had to be specific to the tv or the disc had to match the player. Something like that. I haven't paid attention to it for a minute though so it could have changed

I was in best buy yesterday and saw that WB had bound several of their DC animated movies with the graphic novels that they came with. Batman Year One came with the animated Batman Year One, Wonder Woman Gods and Monsters came with the Wonder Woman animated series. I ended up buying the Justice League Origin and Justice League War combo.

I am starting to really wonder about the world we live in now. My younger cousins high school is under pressure now due to the story about the other trans dude that wants to use female bathrooms, because there is a kid there that wants to also use female bathrooms and locker rooms during gym. My cousin is 16 ( going on 17) and a female. It doesn't make girls who feel uncomfortable using a girls bathroom and gym locker room with a trans female ( boy who feels he is a girl) a bigot or a bad person, especially if that person still has make parts). If this becomes the norm what's stopping horny straight teen males from dressing up as females to get in girl bathroom and locker rooms? Not to mention some trans might be bisexual. Fact is the girls have rights the same way trans do and they just need to respect the fact that some parents and teens are comfortable with that. Sorry to rant just frustrated because my cousin was being harrassed on Facebook because she expressed her opinion on it.But anyway, hope everyone's Labor Day is going well.
