I think the WWE needs to also make NXT a show for main roster talent to rehab from injuries.

IE. similar to a rehab assignment in baseball. Its something I have addressed before. I have no idea why the WWE isn't doing it.

Scott Steiner is calling out Hulk Hogan again.

Does anyone believe he has 1 million dollars?

So GFW is going to crown Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, Tag Team and Women's Champions at for their first taping. Was kinda hoping they would hold a tournament, well not for the Woman's Title, since they only have two female wrestlers. Still should be interesting to see what they have planned,

Cool to see Sara Del Rey and Albert get promoted. They are doing great work and seem to be nice people.

So, is R-Truth looking to retire soon, and WWE is giving him a "thank you for your service" farewell tour or something? It just seems like he just randomly got promoted from jobbing every week to being prominently featured in the IC title picture a few months back.

That's a good idea if WWE was a regular sport, but for a worked sport it would rob that returning talent of the "holy ****, he's back!" dramatic moment when he comes back on Raw or on a PPV.

That's true. I think it's better to use it to revitalize the careers or underutilized guys (like it did so well with Tyson Kidd).

I have very little interest in the WWE product right now, but I'm interested enough in Sami Zayn VS Kevin Owens to be very tempted to finally subscribe to WWE Network tonight to watch the NXT special.

Becky Lynch's new t-shirt might not be ideal for male fans ...

I'd actually say the overall product has been better recently than it has in quite a while.

Yeah, that's me ordered WWE Network. Though it's only been rumoured and may not be likely, the one other thing that has nudged me into giving the Network a try to watch NXT Takeover tonight is the possibility of Samoa Joe making a surprise debut. The guy was my favourite wrestler from 2004 straight through to like 2009, and TNA's horrible mishandling of him and the way it seemed to kill his drive in his latter years there played a large part in just about putting me off wrestling altogether. So I'd really be rooting for him to get his old fire back and, better late than never, get a shot at WWE stardom.

I've been out of the loop wrestling wise these past couple weeks. Let me see if I understand:

Joe might debut tonight
Owens is feuding with Cena
Sunny might be doing porn

That cover everything?

I feel like the WWE is pretty good right now. I love Seth Rollins as champion and the main events have been good at the few PPVs. John Cena is one of the best U.S. Champions we've had in WWE; the U.S. open challenge is brilliant as it has led to good matches and segments. The New Day have knocked it out of the park so far as heels. Ryback is delivering effective promos and decent matches. Neville is doing well on the main roster now. Lana is over like a million bucks with the crowd, and the storyline with Rusev is working for me. Naomi is getting some spotlight and Nikki Bella is impressing me enough that I don't roll my eyes when she's on TV anymore. Did I mention that Dean freaking Ambrose is in the title picture?

I about 6 weeks behind on NXT, should I wait to watch the network special tonight or just watch it?

I say you should watch it, there's nothing like watching these specials live. Plus the video recaps before the matches should tell you any major plot points you missed.

I'm lurking right behind Renee Young on the preshow :ninja:

I'm in the Ambrose hoodie :hehe:

It's funny how Stephanie McMahon is a mega-heel on WWE TV, but treated as a face in NXT. It kinda makes sense though, as in an NXT context HHH has done a lot of good.

Kevin Owens' delivery reminds me a bit of Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk in Daredevil.

Balor has wings!!!
