I am 100% behind Frank Welker.

I like Hugo Weaving and wouldn't mind having him lend his voice to a Transformer. Some have suggested that he voice Ratchet, which I agree with.

I don't really care. I'm fully prepared to see this movie and view a Megatron who speaks in dial-up noise. Megatron not sounding like Megatron would only be one in a myriad of issues with this recent character adaption.

Welker and Cullen are nothing more than fan appeasement because they know how much they've diverged from anything resembling the original. I also like how it's ominous they are taking forever casting voices...suggesting if anything the characters voices are pretty inconsequently to them (however most DON'T speak so they don't have much to cast).

That's an awfully big assertion.

How do you know the voice casting isn't taking time because they want to make sure they get just what they want?

How do you know the casting isn't done, and they just haven't announced it?

Hmm could be, you have to remember that Shockwave is a subtle, detached, calulating character. Do you think Hugo can pull that kind of character off? He also has to have that "husky" type of voice IMO.

have they come to a conclusion as to who's doing the voice? Also this is a little off topic, but have any of you all played a game for ps2 called Robot Alchemic Drive, its a pretty good robot game, gives you a real sense of how its like to controlling a giant robot.
