How would it spin without the fluid staying at the wall of the chamber due to the centrifical force? My idea is, have a bunch of strands close together, and have a rung at certain points down the line! If you look a a Spidey comic today, rarely will you see a straight line; it looks as though someone took strands of silly string and tied them messily together. The rungs would keep them together, and what's more, it'd be serve as a grip, so the strength required to stay on the webline isn't as much

the idea of spidey2365 is that motor is behind the cartridge and it's a gel no prob if it crashes with the cartridge walls

I was just wondering; what would happen if the fluid were less dense, like water instead of something viscous like honey.

please can some one post a photo of his spinneret please I'm very confused

Jeez... settle down. It's been an hour and a half. Everyone's not just sitting around with bated breath waiting to answer your next question. :whatever:

you're too firendly but is because I strive and please be kind in this forum all of us respect us if you0re new in this forum be kind.

I've actually been here 6 1/2 years. I just don't tend to post unless I have something worth saying. :yay:

I took apart the paintball gun but accidently cracked the co2 tank so now I am going to have to purchase another. Since the pressure is so strong i think the idea of compact pressure would really work if we could somehow manage to replace the nozzle to turn it into a webshooter.

I mean in web shooters

I meant in the whole forum. Just because this is my first time posting in this thread doesn't mean it's my first time here. I've seen a dozen of these threads in half as many years here. I always check in from time to time to see if anyone's making any real progress. All I'm saying is, regardless of how anxious you are, I doubt people are just sitting around waiting to answer the 4th or 5th question you asked that day. They'll get to it when they get to it. I liken it to "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". He couldn't stop going on and on until, when he REALLY needed something urgently, nobody took him seriously. I don't participate in this thread, so my opinion doesn't really matter here. But... my 2 cents: Maybe save your questions until you have a few instead of just posting one, coming back 3 minutes later and posting another, coming back 10 minutes later and posting another and then panicking when somebody doesn't answer you right away. You seem very excited about the project. Best of luck! :yay:

all of us and is because I will test a formula and I need a spineret that's why I'm asking all time
greatings

Guys, please, stop arguing. We all just need to chillax to the max here.

Who's arguing here? I'm merely pointing out that someone might get better interaction out of the forum if he would collect his thoughts and post a list of questions. You know, instead of having 70+ posts that are almost all 1 sentence long. It's sorta like grocery shopping 1 item at a time. 23 trips to the store later you have to wonder if there's a more efficient way to do it. But like I said... I don't have any stake in this thread. If everybody wants hundreds of vague, 1 sentence posts cluttering it up who am I to offer the guy some friendly advice? Nobody. Enjoy. :cwink:

Just finished building ARACHNID , just need to add fluid, CO2 adapter, and camelbak attachment.

I'm not tryin to nag y'all but I posted a question on pg 36 and really need help with my web shooter

No, you were right to say what you said. WW, the person who started the thread, was opposed to multiple posts and asked new members to use the edit button.

EDIT: Koopa, I could be wrong, but I don't think we'd be able to make spinnerets. They would have to be commercially available. to make one would be incredibly difficult and expensive. as for the 1/4 solenoid valve, have you tried googling "1/4 solenoid valve"?

GUYS we have a BUG PROBLEM we think that the solvent wil evaporate but in silicon pistols you have to wait like 2 minutes to the pistole to be hot and if we want evaporate we will haVE to wait and the batterys will be empty because the resistence use so much energy

Well, why not just hook it up to a car battery or something? There'd be power, regarding weight gain:P

a car battery? better idea check bat-gen in goopgle is very interesting
