yeah it would work because wadaltmon has also a solenoid and in a
video he shoots a preliminary formula wich is very viscous.

i was thinking that the formula would be expensive,so what about making a formula that can be melted and used other time but you will have to add acetone other time but the point is that it could be melted right?

pllagunos. 2 things:
1.) no it will not work with a viscous formula, only one that is like water. this is why we use acetone. it gets harder and thicker once its out of the shooter.

2.) i know what your thinking, and your half right. in theory, i could have solid blocks of web fluid stacked in my closet, waiting to be melted for use. but to reuse once shot is impractical because it would be contaminated by several things it came in contact with. the only use remelting it would have is for cleanup. good idea though.

Hang on, is it even possible to have something that has a high tensile strength but is also elastic? I mean, isnt elasity a sign of tensile strength failure?

i dont know, but a rope is elastic and has good tensil straight so i think is not a sign

@spider,man: just look at real spider web. that stuff is stronger than steel, and is still really stretchy. or just look at bungy cords

guys, easy solution to this. we just ignore him til he brings up proof. giving him so much attention like this is exactly what he wants. so just ignore him. and if he ever does come up with a video, i will personally apologize. but until then, just stop talking to him. not like we can make him do what he said he would do by typing at him. just forget him so we can move on with our own shooters. this petty little argument has taken up 2 whole pages of the forum and needs to stop.
