so wadaltmon if you already made a formula why don't you use it (the one that spider, man mentioned)

@pllagunos: I made a formula just after I joined these forums, however, since then, I have not been able to recreate it for some reason.
@spider,man: Wow, you're in school late... okay then.

Lol. The time zone is different. I forgot to change it. It was 7am when i posted that

alright, i ve got the picture, i ve created an account for realwebtech, now i m just trying to find out how to post them
by the way, the web that symbiotehost has in realwebtech, is it real? it s pretty cool.

I might take longer then expected to post my photo. I lost the wire that connects my phone to the com.

>:I I don't believe you. Haha, just kidding. But to upload the pictures, just go to the photos section, after signing in, and above the photos you press "Add Photos". Then make a new album and name it, then upload the files, name and describe them, and then you will be done. Also, the things tht symbioteshost showed on his sink and shower were not real; he molded them with his hands.

Oh. That s a pity. I ll try and post it as soon as i can. It s a real pity i can t just post it on mobile

If all else fails, you can always e-mail them to me and I can post them for you. Or e-mail them to yourself from your phone, then save them to your computer and then upload them.

you could also go until the end of the page and change it to full site,
btw* thats what i do...
but for some reason even in the full site (its like in the computer) you will not be able no to post pictures so do it by computer

ok, i m uploading them now. they should be there by the time you see this message.
Just going to quickly explain how mine works. Mine is going to be placed on the arm. I think that if you place it at your back and have a long tube, there would be too much friction.
The pressure container is simple, a small deodarant can, a straw inside (that connects the solenoid to the fluid, a hard transparent plastic (to see the fluid) and then a tube that connects back to a one way valve (check valve) (connects to a pump) and a pressure gauge.
I ve already connected the solenoid. i took these pictures yesterday if i m not wrong. so i ve connected the solenoid already. the only element that is not connected is the spinneret. i m only going to connect it when i m done with my formula. That s cus i don t want to waste time adding and buying a motor, then only realizing that i don t need it later on. so i ll just wait for my formula to be done then i ll modify my spinneret to suit it.

So basically i m quite done.

oh and i did my own switch. just tie the string to your finger and pull it back.

i posted my webshooter designs on realwebtech, notice that in the 3D drawings of the heating coil i couldn't put the nozzle because i failed trying to do it so if some of you know how to put a nozzle (just like a little cone) in google sketch up please tell me or PM me

ps. the tank blueprints are not ready

i know this could sound a copy but here it is what i searched of the formula
wadaltmon sayied "For about 1.5 fl Oz. Well, we have about 1/4 Cyanocrylate, about a tsp of denatured alcohol, 0.1floz spirit gum, 4 droplets of soap, about 2 drops water, rest liquid Plumr. P.S. It doesn't dissolve well, and be careful with Liquid Plumr!"

but spider,man sayied
"If we mix everything except the superglue(cyanochloride)(i think that s how it s spelled) it forms an amber coloured precipitate. It flows kinda like honey. However, the second you add superglue, a complex series of chemical reactions occur and heat is given out. It gets pretty darn hot because it melted through my latex gloves. (i m guessing it s about 50-60 degrees culcius) the whole mixture hardens. Yes, it can be stretched, it s rather strong, but the problem is that it s not THAT STICKY"

so i think this will function
1.5 fl Oz
a tsp of denatured alcohol, 0.1floz spirit gum, 4 droplets of soap, about 2 drops water, rest liquid Plumr. so this is in a valve

but... there are 2 valves the second one has 1/4 cyanocrylate (of the 1.5 fl Oz.).

so when this to join together this will make the formula harden and when they pass through a heating coil and a spinneret they will join together and be a strong rope but they aren't that sticky so it could be a good idea add to the cyanocrylate a litle contact cement about 1/8.

hope it helps!

Are there any other solvents to contact cement that won t damage plastic?

aquose acetone
but its more difficult to evaporate it
or maybe turpentine

i have a question for you how can you make your webshooter in just 1 month cuz you join to the SHH in july and wadaltmon that has about 3 years here just made the shooter just like 3 months ago so tell how can you do all that work of 3 years in 1 month?

Haha. I ve been here for awhile, but i only made the account last month. I also think it s cus they have been doing the research and stuff so i din t really have to do my research, but i just needed to read the page.
I would also say that it s because i ve worked with pressure and electronical components before, whereas they might have started out new

Alright, so i ve been mixing around a couple of glues lately and i m pretty satisfied by the results. It s quite easy to get a glue that has more tensile strength than that of a rubber band but a tad bit less elastic, which is perfect. The only thing we have to worry about is the stickness of the glue. The strongest glue is superglue, which reacts with moisture and then hardens. Note that there is moisture in the air. When superglue hardens, it is no longer sticky, but bonds anything that it is in contact with when it reacts with moisture. The kind of glues we are looking for falls under the catogry of evapourating glues. Such glues bond when its solvent evaporates. Such examples are UHU glue and white glue. However, glues that goes through a chemical reaction, such as 2 part glues, gorrila glue, and superglue tend to be a lot stronger than evapourating glues.

What is the difference between acetone and aqueous acetone? Is nt acetone already aqueous?

Acetone is a compound, an organic structure. Aqueous acetone is acetone with water, and I discovered that with this dilution scheme, it loses some of its properties like dissolving harder plastics. However, it can still dissolve ashesives.

OH! That s interesting. Do you add water and acetone in a 1:1 ratio?

It depends on how fast you want the stuff to evaporate, or how much risk you want to take of it then dissolving plastic. I mean, putting it in a water:acetone ratio of 1:500 isn't going to affect it. However, 1:3, 1:2, or 1:1 should do you good.

Are you sure diluting acetone will not melt plastic? Maybe there is just no visible change.
