hey, we're all really busy im so sorry. i need time to think about it, so ill tell you everything you'll want to know on friday if no one has answered you by then.

Do you think the solvent might evapourate while in the shooter? I know it s under high pressure and it would be harder for it to evapourate but it won t completely stop it. And since it s just a mixture, wouldnt the components get seperated after awhile? Denser liquid sinks, ect?

Will anyone help me with my simple water shooting objective? xD I already have the spray bottle setup with modified tubing to be strapped to my arm/wrist, I just need a way to pull the spray bottle trigger with my same hand. I have tried so many methods and failed, I need someone with brains to aid me! xD

Oops, I haven't been on here in a while. I have new pictures on real web tech ( if you didn't know).

Sorry if I wasn't able to answer your questions, I've been out for a while. So...

@pllagunos: The aluminum is the tube, and the I used an aluminum duct-work tape to insulate the heat against the spinneret. Aluminum is metal, and thus conducts heat well, but also aluminum is one of the better common heat conductors.

@Spider_Craft: The valve and button are simple. Basically, the (solenoid) valve is a piston that moves upward and unblocks the path for the fluid to pass. This piston moves by being pulled up through an electromagnetic coil. That's where the button comes in... you use the button attached to a battery to regulate the electricity that powers the electromagnetic coil. You just connect the negative side of the battery to the negative wire of the solenoid. Then you connect the positive side of the battery to one terminal of the button, and then connect the positive terminal of the solenoid to the other terminal of the button. Usually the solenoid should take 12V, but I have been getting by with a normal 9V battery. Even rechargable ones work. Also, the spinneret is really just any hole or orifice or collection of such holes that will shape the polymer when it is extruded. So really, all you need for a spinneret is something with a hole in it, that is smaller than the tube coming out of the shooter.

@StarterSpider: That's not really going to work. If you put the bottle down on your arm like that, the fluid will go down with gravity, onto the side wall of the bottle. The straw doesn't reach there, and so it will not draw out the fluid. Also, like was said on your Yahoo Answers thing, you will need pressure to draw out the fluid... however, this, once again, will not work with the spray bottle, because the spray bottle is the thing that generates the pressure already without modification, with a plunger system in the pump just below the head of the sprayer. But if you really won't let go of the spray bottle thing, redirect the tube to the side wall that will be down on your wrist, and keep the bottle full at all times, or at least close to full. Then use a pulley system attached to the spray actuator, put a string and a wheel on it to redirect the pulling force to your hand, then cut off the atomizer and stick a tube where it was, and redirect it outward where you want to shoot.

Well, I solved the solidification complex of the formula. It now solidifies immediately after leaving the shooter. The video of Project Update 4 will be up shortly.

I put up the next project update on my Youtube channel. It details the ways to solidify the formula.

Hi guys, what's the progress on the Web shooter?
My Wi-Fi's been down so I haven't been on in a while.

I've been pretty buay with school, so I haven't made a lot of progress of late. I have more formula materials ordered though.

Hi guys,
I'm new a new member, but I've read all of the posts on the forum. What you have all achieved is awesome!
And I promise you that unlike Exodere, I will not lie or make up pathetic excuses.

p.s. Do any of you have Twitter? My username is @Spider_Crafts

That's funny.....real funny....considering that you are Exodere.

Both names now banned.

Hey Guy I'm new to this site I searched up instructions on how to make a web shooter and found this ànd I've been trying to make one of my own. But I was wondering if we can exchange ideas

If you're looking for web shooters to swing from buildings, go away. If you're looking for instructions so you can copy our shooters and formulas, go away. If you're looking for a way to become an underage RLSH, go away. If you're Exodere, i'm going to find you and test out my new devil clubs on you.

If none of these apply to you, welcome aboard! We're glad to have you!

Dude I'm here to share info and get some if you guys are still working on it

Plz just get back to me if you guys wanna tell me a little of what your recent design for the web and shooter and ill tell you some of mine and it is just an aid for me

Hi there. We all have different ideas on this project. None of us are doing a webshooter that looks alike. We don t have a blueprint if that s what you re looking for. None of us have finished building one. But yes, this site was created to serve as a place where we can share our ideas

No I was not looking for blue prints I was seeing what are some of your guys best ideas on the experiment so I can have more input for mine and I have ideas on the shooter too that I think are different than all yours

as of now, mine is my web fluid, put inside of an aeresol can, inside of a gun that aims it, triggers it, and allows for easy reload. The gun is equipped with a lasersight, and spinneret, and heating coil. looks like a normal street handgun with blowback.

Have you got you web fluid ready where it can hold when it is realesed and stick to hold a couple hundred pound?
Mine is with co2 or some other compressed air but I thought about fluid web that when it hits air it hardens into web but could not find chemicals like that but mine was I was going to make a web cartridge out of some thin strong bungee jumping cord and some fast curring glue that is strong so the bungge is shot out by the co2 or compressed air and hit with the adhesive before it leaves my other one is using natural thin like have you guys ever heard of the Darwin bark spider it has extremely strong web I was wondering if I can turn web back into its fluid state and put it into a cartridge or use it as it is and make web lines out of it and put it in the cartridge either ways fine which ever is better but the bark spiders web is ten times stronger than Kevlar but the spider is in Madagascar

I will tell you guys when I get further on my shooter and web it will be near Dec Jan that's when I get money for my highly cost experiments but I think you guys are kinda behind for how long this thread has been going

At this point...I suggest everyone calm down.
