That's a good point. I'll see what happens with rounded cartridges using the plastic stuff. For now though, I've pretty much finished the cuff. It's asymmetrical, but it holds the cartridge mold nicely. After I actually test the thing, I'll make modifications. After all, right now we want a working model.
So phase I is complete: Cuff
phase II is pending: Hardware
Phase III is pending: cosmetics.
Observations:
1.)Using a 4 oz cartridge will require more of the easy mold plastic.
2.)the material is much easier to work with when using a cast or shape.
3.)due to inconsistencies I need to build the cuff by layers.
4.) Because I can remold each part I make, I need to keep track of inconsistencies to reuse the plastic.
All in all, it's a good start. I'll be happier when I create a legitamate first cartridge.
