That...is...so...friggin...AWESOME!!!! And I believe white widow said the reason it harden so quickly because you added more of the solvent and the holes were extremely tiny.

Well done, I thought about using a bottle similar to that now I know it will work.

Amazing! As I told you in the email, I think you're onto something :)
it's worth testing more with water, maybe soem other chemicals... and definitely a high(er) pressure shooter and a nozzle which would create strings of the webbing.
After that, it's about making it as strong (and sticky) as possible.
I'm not so much into chemistry (it's been a while xD), so do any of you guys have ideas on what could make it stronger and/or stickier?
First thing that comes to my mind is to add water to the formula (to get that effect from the last part of the video), but maybe to keep it all in a vacuum or under pressure... so it doesn't harden while still in the bottle.
In theory that should make the fluid come out as a sticky string which would stick and stay on any surface it hits (a wall..). :)

The webbing does in fact become the polymer type substance pretty much immediately after the two mix. I wanted to show myself pouring the two components so that you could see them mix and form a web line but i didnt have a tri-pod... maybe i will eventually figure something out... About adding water... the more water the more webbing however it loses its adhesive properties. as i told MarvelFan, the webbing loses adhesion about 1 second after the two are mixed. Thus, allowing it to become tacky and hold-able.. I might post other videos so be on the look out for the links...ill be making these videos unlisted

that is correct. The webbing is too liquidly but in a spray form it is allowed to cool faster. I cant really find any ways to make that spray form any stronger.... thinning it out makes it more misty and thickening it just makes it goopy.

Like i said the more water, the more webbing but less adhesion. it's not extremely strong just yet and certainly cannot support a 200 lbs person, but it is slighlty less brittle than the acetone and Styrofoam formula. When the webbing hardens, it does not become hard as rock like the A+S formula but more a rubber. the adhesion is alright, i think im going to try and add super glue or a strong fast trying adhesive... not sure yet..

Also i will be posting vids and some pics on the web shooter site today so check that out...

Symbiotehost, this is wonderful! Great job! Do you have any idea on how to make it stronger ??

symniotehoste you are AMAZING I love your formula can you please tell me how to do it

Like I said, really cool! It almost reminds me of the reaction super glue gets when its in water.

i added annotations with some info and such just fyi... glad you guys like it.... lol the formula is not super glue and water but ur welcome to try that.

the forumla is a thinned out glue that is mixed with water sir...

hmm a solvent... idk... i guess it doesnt need one.... Its like u have your web shooter and i have mine... lol hope that doesnt sound ignorant or arrogant

I just said it LOOKED similar to how super glue acts in water. How when it's in water, it turns into a tacky, elastic, polymer-like substance. And after a couple minutes, it turns hard and becomes less tacky.

I think thinned out glue, means that the glue before was viscous and when it's thinned out, it is more of the consistency of water instead honey.
