The whole Mary Magdalene thing, or whatever knowledge of the subject you wish to impart.

Mary Magdalene is mentioned in the Gospels as being among the women of Galilee who followed Jesus and His disciples, and who was present at His Crucifixion and Burial, and who went to the tomb on Easter Sunday to annoint His body. She was the first to see the Risen Lord, and to announce His Resurrection to the apostles. Accordingly, she is referred to in early Christian writings as "the apostle to the apostles."

Mary Magdalene, Mary of Bethany (sister of Martha and Lazarus), and the unnamed penitent woman who annointed Jesus's feet (Luke 7:36-48) are sometimes supposed to be the same woman. From this, plus the statement that Jesus had cast seven demons out of her (Luke 8:2), has risen the tradition that she had been a prostitute before she met Jesus.

Because of the assumption that Mary Magdalene had been a spectacular sinner, and also perhaps because she is described as weeping at the tomb of Jesus on the Resurrection morning, she is often portrayed in art as weeping, or with eyes red from having wept. From this appearance we derive the English word "maudlin", meaning "effusively or tearfully sentimental." There is a Magdalen College at Oxford, and a Magdalene College at Cambridge (different spelling), both pronounced "Maudlin."

PRAYER (traditional language)
Almighty God, whose blessed Son restored Mary Magdalene To health of body and mind, and called her to be a witness of his resurrection: Mercifully grant that by thy grace we may be healed of all our infirmities and know thee in the power of his endless life; who with thee and the Holy Spirit liveth and reigneth, one God, now and for ever.

The atomic bomb was born in secrecy and in many ways remains shrouded in mystery over fifty years after its development. It was built during wartime as part of the Manhattan Project, a program whose existence and huge expenditures was kept under wraps so well that even Harry S. Truman, head of the Senate committee that oversaw federal defense spending, didn't know what was up. (Truman eventually learned that the money was being used for a powerful new weapon, but even as Vice-President he wasn't informed of its true nature — he was provided with details only when he took over as President after the death of Franklin Roosevelt.) It was tested only once, in a remote New Mexico desert (for which a cover story about the accidental explosion of a munitions dump at an Alamogordo air base was concocted in advance). When it was finally used, it was dropped in Japan, half a world away.

Because of all the secrecy, many Americans only learned about the bomb's effects second- and third-hand (at least until John Hersey's magnificent "Hiroshima" article was published in The New Yorker in August 1946), so it's no wonder many strange and chilling rumors (most of them apocryphal) about the bomb began to circulate. People heard accounts of Japanese who were instantly "vaporized" by the bomb, with nothing left behind but their shadows. For years afterwards, popular culture was full of images of humans who developed extraordinary powers and creatures (usually insects) who grew to enormous size after being exposed to the radioactivity produced by a nuclear explosion.

One of more common bomb-related legends grew out of that first test (code-named "Trinity") in the New Mexico desert on 16 July 1945, a tale about a blind girl who supposedly "saw" the flash of light produced by the bomb's detonation. When the accounts of the explosion and the blind girl who saw it were initially reported, the public did yet not know of the bomb's existence and still believed the blast had been produced by an accidental explosion at a munitions dump:

[Albuquerque Journal, 1945]
So brilliant was the flash from the explosion that Miss Georgia Green of Socorro, blind University of New Mexico student, said "What's that?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Socorro Chieftain, 1945]

An explosives magazine at the Alamogordo air base blew up Monday morning, and the flash, sound and shock were seen, heard and felt in Socorro, more than 100 miles away . . . The flash was intensely white and seemed to fill the entire world. It was followed by a large crimson glow. The flash lasted only a second or so. It was so bright that Miss Georgia Green of Socorro, blind student at the University of Mexico, being driven to Albuquerque by her brother-in-law, Lieutentant Joe Wills, asked, "What's that?"

The world learned about the atom bomb after one was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima in August 1945, and the anecdote about Georgia Green was widely reprinted as newspapers rushed to print everything they knew (which was usually little) about this powerful new weapon. In true urban legend-like fashion, the details of the story changed as they were told and re-told: Georgia Green's name was omitted (she became merely "the blind girl"); she was said to have been in Albuquerque when the blast occurred (rather than Socorro); she was reportedly being driven to a music lesson (at 5:30 AM? -- she was being taken back to the University of New Mexico, where she studied music); and reports claimed she had seen the flash from "120 miles away" (she was actually about fifty miles from the blast site). It's easy to see why this tale still has such currency: the bomb is still an enigma to many people. We know by now that nuclear explosions don't produce fifty-foot ants and grasshoppers, but who knows what other — hitherto unknown — effects they might have on human beings. Plenty of Japanese citizens survived the initial bomb blasts at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, only to succumb to mysterious radiation-related illnesses days, weeks, months, or even years later, so it isn't too far-fetched to believe that some unusual property of a nuclear explosion could enable a blind person to see (if only for a moment), or that perhaps such a blast produced a special kind of light that even a blind person could "see."

What, if anything, did Georgia Green "see" that day? Ms. Green passed away in the mid-1980s, but accounts from interviews with her and her relatives can be used to form a reasonable explanation. First off, in 1989 Rolf Sinclair from the National Science Foundation visited with Georgia's sister and brother-in-law, both of whom were in the car with her when they witnessed the Trinity test in July 1945. Sinclair learned that even as a young girl Georgia had sight in only one eye, and at age seven she damaged (and lost the use of) this eye when she hit it on a refrigerator door. However, although Georgia was functionally blind, she apparently could still distinguish between light and dark, and her "seeing" the Trinity explosion can therefore probably be attributed to her merely having the minimal amount of visual sensitivity required to discern the extreme difference between the dark of a pre-dawn sky and the brilliant flash of a nuclear explosion.

Lansing Lamont (author of the book Day of Trinity) also interviewed the participants and produced this account:

Georgia Green felt the flash and a sudden loss of breath. "What's that?" she gasped and clutched the arm of her brother-in-law. The car shook and swerved off onto the shoulder of the road.
Note that nothing here says that Georgia "saw" the blast; only that she "felt" and reacted to something. Maybe she did "see" the explosion in a limited sort of way, but she might also have been reacting to something else she "felt" — a blast of air, a sudden change in air pressure or temperature, or even the shaking or swerving of the car. Anything out of the ordinary might conceivably have caused her to exclaim "What's that?"

Whatever the true explanation, it's undoubtedly more prosaic than the legend of a blind girl who suddenly "saw" a nuclear explosion. The atom bomb may still have some mysteries to it, but producing a kind of light even the blind can see isn't one of them.

Poltergeists and Hauntings

Ways that Hauntings and Poltergeists Differ

HAUNTING: This particular event occurs with ghosts of human beings appearing frequently in certain areas and times.

POLTERGEIST: This may not be a ghost at all. There are theories that poltergeists are massive amounts of PK energy that is controlled unknowingly by a living person. In certain cases poltergeist activity has been linked to demons or evil spirits.

HAUNTING: The ghosts in this activity appear in areas that the deceased were familiar with in life.

POLTERGEIST: This can be triggered by a living person's trauma any where and any time.

HAUNTING: This is continous over periods of time. They occur in the same general location everytime.

POLTERGEIST: This builds up over periods of time to a climax and then restart over. This energy can travel anywhere anytime following anyone.

HAUNTING: This activity is not violent by nature.

POLTERGEIST: When this energy gets nearer to the climax of its cycle, poltergeists can become dangerous. Poltergeists can inflict mental and physical terror in extreme cases.

Five Levels of Poltergeist Activity
LEVEL 1:The Sense Attack

Level 1 is referred to as a Sense Attack. This is because at the beginning of this phenomenon the poltergeist attacks the basic human senses. Witnesses may hear strange noises in the middle of the night, they may walk into a room and feel a cold spot move over their body. They may see the lights flicker, shadows move. They may smell weird and strange smells.

Characteristics: Strange noises(knocking, rappings, etc.) - Unusual activity by animals (family pets running from room terrified) - May have the feeling of being watched - May experience cold or hot spots

LEVEL 2: Communication

When this second phase begins the noises, smells become more direct. The enerygy is turned up a few notches, but the poltergeist is still in early energy phase. The noises will change from sounds you can not define, to noises such as laughing or whispers. Instead of feeling cold spots, cold air will rush through room as if a wind is blowing. Marks will start to appear on walls. ceilings. Objects in the home (furniture, knick knacks) will start to move. Objects will start to be thrown through out the house.

Characteristics: Moving shadows - Breezes in areas closed off - Laughs, giggles, moans or shrieking - Stronger than your average static electricity - Weird marks on the floors and ceilings - Objects that have moved or have been thrown

LEVEL 3: Electrical Control

At this stage is when it starts to get terrifying for most witnesses. The main emotion in the home where this is occurring begins to be Fear. In the first two stages you could explain it away as your mind playing tricks on you, but no in this one. The activity becomes more real. The poltergeist starts to feed off this fear to gather enough energy to move to the next stage.

Characteristics: There will be hands that are not seen grabbing and/or touching people - Writing will start to appear on walls - Windows and doors will start to open and close by themselves - You start to hear voices - Start to see full apparitions/dark figures - You start to have direct conversation with the apparitions - The phone starts to ring - Objects start to fall out of nowhere - Furniture begins to move - Appliances begin turning on/off

LEVEL 4: The Trickster Stage

This is the stage where the poltergeist starts to gather momentum. At this stage objects begin to be hurled across the room and objects disappear. Furniture begins to violently shake and shudder. There are flames that spontaneously burst out. People start to be violently pushed. Obscenities and orders for the living to leave the house are heard. Some people consider this to be a ghost playing jokes, but in reality it is a poltergeist gathering information about the people and what they consider to be frightening. All this information will be used by the poltergeist to create an environment of absolute terror for the living. It will then use this terror to feed on and build its own energy.

Characteristics: The living feeling dizzy or nauseated - Windows, mirrors, ceramic objects begin to shatter with no one around them - There will be levitation - There will be physical attacks - Fires will suddenly start for no reason - There will be apparitions appeariing as frightening entities - People will be violently shoved or shaken - there will be visions or illusions - Disembodied voices will be heard shouting out orders or obscenities - Objects flying or moving - Objects disappearing and reappearing.

LEVEL 5: The Danger Stage

This is the level that the poltergeist has reached it highest energy and should be considered extremely dangerous. This activity could end in days, hours. Then again it could last for months, years. After it stops the poltergeist is just dormant and will start over at stage one. This stage will include but not limited to: biting, scratching, punching, and sexual assaults may occur. This is when dangerous household objects such as knives start to fly across the room aiming to stick itself into a living person in the room. Fires can and will start in rooms when everyone is asleep.

Characteristics: Hair pulling, biting, slapping - Objects will become animated - Possible Human Possession - Household electrical systems are used to cause harm - fires - there will be blood on walls, ceilings - vicious attacks - persons being held down - sexual assaults - threateniing writings - threatening voices.

Title: Incubi & Succubi
Author: Xaronzon

What the Hell are Incubi and Succubi?
They are incorporeal sexual energy feeders, generally regarded to be a type of incorporeal vampire.
In a masculine form, they are called incubi (singular: incubus), and in a feminine form, succubi (singular: succubus).

What do they look like?
Incubi and succubi have no specific appearance, generally taking their form from the mind of the person they're feeding. They rarely materialise physically (although they can be induced to do so through various rituals), preferring to appear in the dreams, or (more rarely) to induce sleep paralysis in the victim. They may also be encountered on the astral plane.
Their appearance in dreams and astral states can be hard to discern from more conventional dream images, but it is worth noting that they are not good at the details of human anatomy, as they don't really understand it. Nipples, navels, similar apparently minor cosmetic details will often be blurry or indistinct, even when the entity is in clear focus otherwise. Such details may also be completely missing.
When evoked into the physical plane, they will often not have a very clear appearence. Their evoked energy form will be visible and tangible to one trained in seeing such things, but they might even go unnoticed by the untrained eye.

What do they do?
They drain energy from their victim by causing or taking advantage of sexual arousal or frustration. In the middle ages, monks, nuns, and other celibates were particularly unfond of these beings, as they manifested to them with some frequency, due to the sexual frustration which is often an innate part of celibacy.
Incubus and succubus experiences are usually pleasurable for the victim, and will only cause any problem if they are already extremely ill or weak, although they may not. Some vampires and vampiric magicians dislike these beings as they hate being drained of vital energy.
It seems to only be rarely in modern times that an incubus/succubus experience will not be regarded as pleasurable. Generally, these will be situations in which the entity explores the hidden sexuality of it's victim (for example, appearing as a male to a homophobe). This exploration of hidden and forbidden sexuality is part of what made the Christian church revile them to such a great extent and regard having sex with them as so sinful.
Thomas Aquinas, darling of the Catholic Church and 13th Century founder of "scholasticism," believed that devils, in the form of succubi, performed ******io on sleeping mortals. Then, as incubi, they used the seed so obtained to impregnate virtuous unmarried women in their sleep, thus producing half human/half demonic monsters. In fact, this was a convenient excuse for unmarried women who became pregnant, more often than not. Incubi and succubi are evidently incapable of fertilizing humans in any normal sense. However, this belief does inspire certain possiblities in relation to creating a magickal child of some description.

How do they come into being?
There are a number of theories as to how these beings are created in the first place. Some schools of though theorise that they are created by the more powerful beings they are often found serving, such as Lilith. Magicians of more materialistic paradigms regard succubi to be entities created by their victim's own mind.
It has also been theorised (possibly after the consumption of large ammounts of intoxicants) that a magician could cooperate with a succubus to create a Tulpa or Moonchild, which would be a mating of sorts. Such a thing could have a number of results, and the method can be adapted to create both corporeal and incorporeal beings with innate succubitic tendancies.

How can you get rid of them?
They can be prevented from attacking by using substances such as salt and gold, and may be got rid of with a simple banishing such as the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram or one of it's derivatives (the Gnostic Pentagram, for instance). Dream catchers are also generally reported to be effective against their attacks upon the sleeping. They can be eliminated by being completely drained of energy, although this is blatant cruelty towards a largely harmless entity.

Where do they come from?
Regions of origin: The terms "incubus" and "succubus" are European in origin, but similar beings appear in the mythology of most regions of the world. As they are incorporeal, geography is largely irrelevant. They are related to (although possibly not the same as) beings such as Mara and Night Hags, which, while they also take their appearance from the minds of their victims, are often more nightmarish in their appearance, feeding on fear rather than lust.

Are they dangerous?
No, not really.
On rare occasions, swarms of these entities will attach themselves to one person, and will be able to physically affect them. As ever, this experience is generally harmless and pleasurable assuming the victim is healthy and suffers no strange repressions regarding sex. It can be rather exhausting to them, though. Under such circumstances, banishing and the use of appropriate prophylactic talismans is recommended should they subject wish to get rid of the beings.
Some mortal vampires and rather more vampiric magicians can project themselves into dreams in order to feed in a manner similar to that of succubi. It is also possible for corporeal vampires (of various sorts) and vampiric magicians to feed on sexual energy in just such a manner as the incorporeal succubi and incubi. Such magicians can also evoke, invoke, and summon succubi, among other entities, and can "create" one with a specific form to send to a chosen victim.
Incubi and succubi often form an entourage to more powerful entities, particularly those entities with vampiric and sexual associations.
These beings are attracted by the use of magick as well as by sexual desire and frustration. Once they decide they like someone, that person will generally receive multiple visitations over the course of his or her life. Some people regard the exchange of a little energy for the sexual pleasures offered by these beings to be well worth it, and will seek to encourage visitations by them.

LOL, cutting off a hellspawn's head or expending its energy meter used to work. I dunno how that'd work now though...

It may still work...but'd it'd be a pretty stupid hellspawn.

Shadow People

"Its eyes met mine for a few moments, and I blinked, trying to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I could see this human-like creature that I swatted at. Then I said, 'Get away!' My hand went through its arm and its eyes seemed darker than its body and the face's outline was hard to make out, but not the eyes, they were definitely staring and darker than the shadow, made from what I don't know. Looking down at me angrily it seemed, confronting a challenge. It looked right at me, straight at my face where I lay as if deciding what to do now."

"What was that?" You were sitting comfortably on your sofa reading the latest issue of Fortean Times in the dim light when movement across the room caught your attention. It seemed dark and shadowy, but there was nothing there. You returned to your reading - and a moment later there it was again. You looked up quickly this time and saw the fleeting but distinctly human shape of the shadow pass quickly over the far wall... and disappear.

What was that? Some natural shadow? Your heightened imagination? A ghost? Or was it something that seems to be a spreading phenomenon - apparitions that are coming to be known as "shadow people" or "shadow beings." Perhaps this is an old phenomenon with a new name that is now being discussed more openly, in part thanks to the Internet. Or maybe it's a phenomenon that, for some reason, is manifesting with greater frequency and intensity now.

Those who are experiencing and studying the shadow people phenomenon say that these entities almost always used to be seen out of the corner of the eye and very briefly. But more and more, people are beginning to see them straight on and for longer periods of time. Some experiencers testify that they have even seen eyes, usually red, on these shadow beings.

The mysterious sightings have become a hot topic of conversion in paranormal chat rooms, message boards and websites, and it was given widespread attention on The Art Bell talk radio show. Art's listeners even submitted their drawings of how they perceived these beings, and they can be seen in a haunting gallery on Art's site.

What are shadow people and where do they come from? Several theories have been offered.

The Imagination
The explanation we get from skeptics and mainstream science - and who are usually people who have never experienced the shadow people phenomenon - is that it is nothing more than the active human imagination. It's our minds playing tricks on us... our eyes seeing things in a fraction of a second that aren't really there - illusions... real shadows caused by passing auto headlights, or some similar explanation. And without a doubt, these explanations probably can account for some if not many experiences. The human eye and mind are easily fooled. But can they account for all cases?

Ghosts
To call these entities ghosts demands first a definition of what we mean by ghosts. (See the article: "Ghosts: What Are They?") But by almost any definition, shadow people are somewhat different than ghost phenomena. Whereas ghost apparitions are almost always a misty white, vaporish or have a decidedly human form and appearance (very often with discernable "clothing"), shadow beings are much darker and more shadow-like. In general, although the shadow people often do have a human outline or shape, because they are dark, the details of their appearance is lacking. This is in contrast to many ghost sightings in which the witness can describe the ghost's facial features, style of clothing and other details. The one detail most often noted in some shadow being sightings are their glowing red eyes.

Demons or Other Spirit Entities
The dark countenance and malevolent feelings that are often reported in association with these creatures has led some researchers to speculate that they may be demonic in nature. If they are demons, we have to wonder what their purpose or intent is in letting themselves be seen in this manner. Is it merely to frighten?

Astral Bodies
One interesting idea suggests that shadow people are the shadows or essences of people who are having out-of-body experiences. According to Jerry Gross, an author, lecturer and teacher about astral travel, we all travel out of the body when we are asleep. Perhaps, this theory says, we are seeing the ephemeral astral bodies of these twilight travelers.

Time Travelers
People from our own future, another idea states, could have found the means to travel to the past - our time. However they are able to accomplish this incredible feat, perhaps in that state they appear to us merely as passing shadows as they observe the events of our timeline.

Interdimensional Beings
Even mainstream science is fairly convinced that there are dimensions other than the three we inhabit. And if these other dimensions exist, who or what (if anything) inhabits them? Some theorists say that these dimensions exist parallel and very close to our own, although invisible to us. And if there are inhabitants in these other dimensions, it is possible that they have found a way to intrude on our dimension and become, at least partially, visible? If so, they could very well appear as shadows. It has long been held by psychics and other sensitives that beings on other planes of existence are of different "vibrations." Science is beginning to look at reality, on a quantum level, in the same way - that particles of the smallest size exist as vibrations. Perhaps, some theorize, the vibrations of our existence are beginning to mesh with those of another dimension, which accounts for the increase in such phenomena as ghosts, shadow people and possibly aliens.

Aliens
The alien and abduction phenomena are so bizarre that it's no surprise that extraterrestrials are suspects as the shadow people. Abductees have reported in many cases that the alien grays seem to be able to pass through walls and closed windows, and to appear and disappear abruptly, among other otherworldly talents. Perhaps, too, they can go about their alien agenda disguised in the shadows.

There's a good deal of overlapping among the above ideas, of course. Aliens and ghosts could be interdimensional beings, or aliens could be time travelers - and some believe demons are responsible for all of these disturbing phenomena.

There is no way to prove or disprove any theories about a phenomenon that is so mysterious, that happens so quickly and without warning. Science finds it virtually impossible to catalog or study such phenomena in any methodical way. All we can do, at present, is to document personal experiences and try to piece together what the shadow people phenomenon might be. Perhaps it's an old mystery becoming more recognizable... perhaps it represents a doorway to and from different planes of existence... or perhaps it's just shadows.

mokele-mbembe
The mokele-mbembe is an alleged living sauropod dinosaur now living in the Likouala swamp region of the Republic of Congo (Zaire). The animal has allegedly been encountered by local pygmies who have given the creature its name. Mokele-mbembe means, depending on your source, "rainbow", "one that stops the flow of rivers", or "monstrous animal." The mokele-mbembe is allegedly the size of an elephant (the favorite prey of the local pygmies) with a very long reptilian neck. The creature is said to be hairless and reddish-brown, brown, or gray, with a tail five to ten feet long. The creature apparently spends most of its time in the water, but the pygmies claim they've seen prints left on land of a three-clawed foot.

Reports of this creature have been circulating for the past two hundred years, yet no one has photographed the creature or produced any physical evidence of its existence. Enthusiastic cryptozoologists like Roy Mackal (A Living Dinosaur? In Search of Mokele-Mbembe, 1987) think we should we should give as much credence to the mokele-mbembe as to the Loch Ness monster. True, and it seems unlikely the creature exists, since there would have to be a significant number of the huge creatures to continue to produce descendents after all other dinosaurs were extinguished some 70 million years ago. Yet, they seem to have flourished without leaving a single carcass, bone fragment, or fossil.

Cryptozoologists argue that since a coelacanth was caught off the coast of South Africa, it is reasonable to think that a dinosaur might also have avoided detection for a few million years. However, there is a big difference between finding a fish thought to be extinct and finding a dinosaur. The fish is small and lives in the ocean. Oceans cover two-thirds of the earth and have depths of up to 35,000 feet. That is a lot of space to hide specimens and fragments of specimens. Dinosaurs are large, occupied the third of the earth mostly visible to its other inhabitants, and thus would be much more likely to be detected than the coelacanth.

Yeah -- living dinosaurs in Africa are cool.

Here's another interesting one -- the "Kongamato" (actually a pterosaur):

Pterosaurs were not dinosaurs, but a family of large flying reptiles ("pterosaur" means "winged lizard") that includes the pterodactyl and pteranodon. The pterosaur stood on two rather spindly legs and had wings composed of a leathery membrane that stretched from the animal's extremely long fourth finger to its body. Despite their appearance, they were not related to birds (as dinosaurs are theorized to be), and were highly successful flyers that might have dined on fish and insects.

Africa's Kongamato

While other reports of pterosaur-like creatures have come out of Arizona, Mexico and Crete, it is out of central Africa that some of the most interesting anecdotes have come. While traveling though Zambia in 1923, Frank H. Melland collected reports from natives of an aggressive flying reptile they called kongamoto, which means "overwhelmer of boats." The natives, who were occasionally tormented by these creatures, described them as being featherless with smooth skin, having a beak full of teeth and a wingspan of between four and seven feet. When shown illustrations of pterosaurs, Melland reported, "every native present immediately and unhesitatingly picked out and identified it as a kongamato."

In 1925, a native man was allegedly attacked by a creature that he identified as a pterosaur. This occurred near a swamp in Rhodesia (now Zambia) where the man suffered a large wound in his chest that he said was caused by the monster's long beak.

In the late 1980s, noted cryptozoologist Roy Mackal led an expedition into Namibia from which he had heard reports of a prehistoric-looking creature with a wingspan of up to 30 feet.

El Chupacabra
What is it?
The Chupacabra is a creature that lives in South & Central America. It has been sighted world wide, but it has mostly been sighted in those areas. It apparently can fly. It drinks blood (although not human blood). It is famous for having killed several goats. This is where it derives it name from. Chupacabra means goat sucker in spanish. Many say that it will rise in popularity to become even more popular then The Loch Ness Monster. It has been sighted many times, but never captured.
What does it look like?
The chupacabra is human in appearance. While reports vary, they all are somewhat similar. It has fangs, witch it uses to drink blood. On its back are spines, which seem to give it the power of limited flight. Some people say it has wings and a seven foot wingspan. It has no tail. It is about 4 feet tall. It's two long arm's are clawed. It can be described as a cross between an ape, human, and bird with the fangs and stomach of a vampire and the strength + agility of a panther.

Where did it come from?
Their are several explanations. Some say that it was a pet of aliens that was either left behind or ran away. Some say it is really an animal related to humans. Some say it really does not exist, but it is really a bat. Some say it is a government experiment gone wrong.

Why all the fuss?
The chupacabra has grown in popularity because it has killed several goats and other animals. It drinks their blood. Several carcasses have been found completely drained of blood, and a chupacabra like animal seen. Many say it will become as big as big foot or the Loch Ness Monster. Remember, you saw it here first!

Where does it live?
The Chupacabra lives in south America and Purterico, but has been sighted all over the world. It lives in underground caves, of witch their are many miles of in Puertorico. There have also been extensively in Miami and Florida.
Wow,a native from my island Puerto Rico.:D

zuiyo_maru.jpg

On April 25, 1977 the Japanese fishing vessel Zuiyo Maru pulled the carcass shown above out of the sea.

The fishermen could not identify the creature, but believed it might have been a sea serpent. They took pictures of the carcass and then threw it back into the sea, fearing that the rotting flesh would contaminate their catch. The pictures appeared in newspapers throughout the world.

Chemical analysis of samples of the carcass later determined that the creature was probably a species of shark.
