I'm buying it all. I only have a few of the old VHS tapes so this is perfect for me. I just finished the Vegeta saga, and I was blown away by how much better the original Japanese version is than the dub. Yamcha's death was amazingly moving, and it's obvious that it loses that felling in translation. Excellent sets with amazing picture quality.

Sadly no. It is badly acted and the script is totally wrong. Dragon Ball to me is either the original manga or the Japanese w/ English subs!

They only ruined it when they made GT! Toriyama's original manga runs to the end of the Majin Buu Saga, and Goku was pushed to his limit to beat Buu. It was the finest ending Dragon Ball could've had!

Don't really care. My ending for DBZ is when everyone things Goku died on namek(spelling whatever). After that the show just got dumb, and I couldn't stand it anymore. So DBZ was ruined for me way before GT.

What limits?

Goku got his ass handed to him. Vegeta got raped.
It was the Earth powered spirit bomb and fully powered Goku (ala Namekian Dragon Balls) that defeated Buu.

Thats exactly what I said. It was a fine ending to a legendary series. Those who don't appreciate the japanese voice talent shouldn't be allowed to watch the show. I MEAN THAT! The japanese cast is leagues ahead of the Funi (can't follow the script) team. But to each their own. I am glad DBZ continued to the point it did. If not we would never have, Majin Vegeta, Mystic Gohan(Gohan in his badass form),SSJ 3 Goku (badass), Vegetto,and Gotenks! So, yes it was ripe with awesomeness all the way to the end!

I CAN'T STAND the original voice acting. And their music is crappy beyond crappy! Its like rejected music from old 1970's martial arts films.
