Holy crap this is awesome news, I recently stumbled in to a Toys R Us and found a few figures from the 2nd wave of the DK movie masters, no Two-Face sadly but it was this first time I had seen them. Cant wait for these

I went to my Toys-R-Us yesterday and they had Harvey, Two-Face, and Proto-Suit Batman, so I picked all three up Not a fan of the new Joker though for some reason, the face paint looks off I guess.
Awesome that Two-Face's coin is an "actual" coin.

I own all of the BB and TDK Movie Master ever made, yes even the hard to find and expensive ghoul Batman version from BB.

Actually over Christmas I found 3 of the Ghoul Batman figs at my local toys r us express. I didnt think any of the old MM figs were "rare" anymore.

DC Universe Classics - Batman Legacy Action Figures Preview

Revealed at the 2011 Toy Fair show is the new Batman Legacy action figure toy line by Mattel which will be released sometime in the late spring or early summer. This toy line supposedly NOT based on the Batman Legacy comic series but rather is more designed to "celebrate" the Dark Knight's rich history. I assume this means we're going to get different versions of different characters (could mean a lot of repaints). The first wave of Batman Legacy action figures will include "Movie Masters" action figures from Batman Begins, all in the 6 inch size, as well as a few re-released/repainted figures and some new action figures based on the new Batman Arkham City video game which will be coming at the end of September 2011. So lets take a look at the line up:

First, the movie masters action figures which i believe will be sold as a 2 pack. From Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne in his prototype Batman suit and Commissioner Gordon.



Pictures from the Toy Fair 2011 show that included with the Prototype Batman action figure is a removable ski mask for Bruce.



The Prototype Batman/Commissioner Gordon has been labelled as Wave 1 by Mattycollector and there is also a Dark Knight Batman and Police Honor Guard Joker − "Wave 2" two pack that has been announced. No pictures or released dates though of TDK figures though. I assume this means one Movie Master 2 pack per wave.

Well when it came out it was going for like $70 on eBay and many online collectors stores. I guess Mattel re-released these Ghoul figures recently like they did with the original Joker figure. That Joker was going for like $100 at one point before the re-release.

Yeah, I also found the Ghoul Batman and the Unmasked Batman around Christmas time. As a matter of fact, I found every single one of the MM's. Just another prime example of Mattels horrible distribution.

If anything "old" comes out it wont be until the TDKR line, and those wont be shown until Toy Fair of next year for the summer release. And chances are if they do continue with MM styled figures, the initial waves are going to be characters from the new movie. I highly doubt youll see new Jokers or a Ra's.

i still have hope those rumored lineup's for a series 2 and 3 of the 2-packs are true....

gotta figure TDKR Movie Masters won't hit til next May...plenty of time to put out 3 sets of 2-packs in....
