New Movie Masters figures

So I know the last thread has come and gone but I thought it would be worth mentioning that the Lt. Jim Gordon and Proto-suit Batman 2 pack has been released.
It's under the Batman Legacy banner, and the other 2 pack is Arkham City Batman and Two-Face. I still haven't heard about any other eventual 2 packs, so this could be the last Batman Movie Master figure we get until TDKR.
Certainly nice to have Gordon in my Movie Master collection, and luckily I didn't have the Proto suit Bruce so both are welcome additions.

all i can say is,when i posted the rumored lineup's a few months back,the guy who originally posted them online also had the Arkham 2-packs,as well as the single release Legacy figures listed too,and so far they've all come out/been confirmed,so i still have high hopes we'll see some stuff at SDCC....

I really hope we end up seeing the rumored Ra's al Ghul 2 pack. I don't need another "Begins" Batman but i'll gladly buy one if it comes with Ra's

No luck finding these things in stores so I broke down and bought one from Amazon. Then it's time to do some customizing. I'll need a Walter Peck body and I'll use Proto Bats head for a Bruce Wayne and The Proto Bats body for a Batman Beyond Batman. Now all I need is to find a fear toxin Batman and I'll be set...

I found the Legacy Wave 1 figure sets at my local TRU this week here in Canada ... $41.99 a pop.. kinda steep but I wanted my MM Gordon

and as for the other 'rumored' packs.. here's one that ain't rumor no more!! Two words come to mind when I see this.... I WANT!!!

Absolutely stunning!!! I was watching the ComicCon coverage on G4 this past Saturday afternoon when Mattel officially announded this two-pack!!! I can't wait to get my hands on it. Finally an honor guard Joker.

However, I have yet to find the gordon/proto bats two pack

You know what sucks? Being a collector and then looking at your bank account and realizing you have to decide between the $35 double-figure set you *MUST* have or the food you *MUST* have to live.

Sigh.

Wow, that Honor Guard Joker looks a lot better than I figured it would. Of course the actual release will certainly be lower quality, at least in terms of paint application.
Despite the good look of the figure I'm going to most likely take a pass on this 2 pack. I just need the Ra's 2 pack to be confirmed already, I can't wait!

found the single release figures at Wal-Mart yesterday,grabbed a Freeze...

today,i was up in Wilkes-Barre,PA. ,and hit the Target there,and to my surprise,they not only had the single figures,but also the 2-packs! 2 sets of each on the shelf, $29.99 each....grabbed this sucker...

I just placed my pre-order for the Dark Knight and Honor Guard Joker 2-pack on EntertainmentEarth.com. It shows a November release date. Can't wait.

My Protosuit Bats and Gordon pack is in the mail and on its way as well

I'm passing on the singles....got the first wave of two packs from BBTS like a month ago. As for the cop joker two pack (and the upcoming one with Ras a Ghul) I'll probably get them when they hit, but hot toys has really spoiled me when it comes to quality Batman figures.

i have to admit...it feels kinda weird getting to buy Movie Masters again....granted,i'm grateful to be able to add more figures to the collection (and remove the custom versions i made for true,authentic figures)....but still,where were these 2 years ago? or even 1 year ago?

hopefully,these new 2-packs will lead the run-up to a full-fledged The Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters lineup in May of 2012....

Leaving some room for Guard Joker, Catwoman, Ra's and multiple Bane figures.

speaking of new figures, first off i see no reason to believe that we WON'T get new Movie Masters for TDKR next year,but then the question becomes, "Who is feasable?"

Catwoman
Bane without coat

i'd say are the definites....but then who? a repainted Gordon? perhaps (finally) Bruce Wayne? Miranda Tate? any realistic chance at the longshots of Alfred and Lucius?

As far as TDKR figures too early to tell anything other than Batman and Bane. Catwoman might get held over like the Two Face figures from TDK. I don't think Lucious is going to happen. Talia might.

Hot Toys will definitely make another Batman, Bane and Catwoman

Thanks RedSkull. I'm pretty sure the MM line will continue I just hope they don't make anymore Batman figures unless he changes his suit. I would expect a Bane with and without his coat, but it seems that he goes sleevless too in the trailer. A catwoman is a definate and hopefully a Talia and Ra's.

Well Ras is coming in the 2 packs line. So expect that. I'm sure they'll probably rehash batman in the TDKR line or make some minor changes to the figure.
