And was saying how things like this always make me wonder...

Now, as for God in all of this, how could a God who "loves everyone", allow this to happen to the little girl? Or was death the best thing for her? I always wonder when things like this occur, where is God when innocents need him? I guess he must be busy.

No, it's not rellevant here, but the coinincidence was to interesting to pass up. One thread was a child dying as a result of her parent's actions, or should I say inaction, and this one, a child dying as a result of it's father's actions. These things always make me wonder, is God just too busy to help those too young to help themselves. But, this is not a thread for God debates, so...

Although I know atrocities like this happen all over the country as well as the world, I just can't help but wonder why Most of them happen in the South and Midwest.

That's like saying you must be gay if you're in California. Or if you own a couple of guns and a hoodie that you're going to shoot up a school somewhere.

I'd like to see some statistics showing that this usually happens in those areas more than others. Seems to me if it did it would be because a large portion of America's population is concentrated there. That and other large cities like NY and LA aren't going to publicize this when they can talk about Brangelina's new mail-order child.
