What celebs read comics?

Gene Simmons of Kiss is a comic fan. Loves Jeff Loeb's Batman stuff.

Stand up comedians Patton Oswalt and Brain Posehn are comics geeks. When they're out on tour they've got to track down a comic shop every Wednesday - and have their extensive pull lists memorized.

^haha yeah, even did that one song to the spidey tune XD

Quentin Tarantino, Tori Amos, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Affleck, Michael Clarke Duncan, Jude Law, Rosario Dawson, Simon Pegg...

I think Will Smith likes Spidey

He also seems to be a fan of Milestone comics. At least, a few issues were framed on the wall on the set of Fresh Prince. Knowing that he likes Spider-Man, it's not too much of a streatch to think that he added those himself.

Okay, Tarantino and Pegg don't surprise me, and I knew The 'Fleck was a longtime Daredevil fan, but those others? Especially Dawson (since she's, you know, hot).

Also, Shaquille O'Neal is a die-hard Superman fan.

Ooh. I also know that Patrick Stewart is a huge fan of Transmetropolitan.

Oswalt wrote a JLA one shot awhile back called JLA: Welcome to the Working week. It was damn good.

There are lots more. I did a list some time ago.
Rosario Dawson not onyl reads comics, she writes them too. And that makes her even more one of the hottest girls on the planet.
And a few years back an entertainment journalist in Italy, interviewed actors and directors asking them about their attitude towards comic-books, and there were so many you wouldn't expect who loved the medium. And some people working in movies started on comics or strips, like Terry Gilliam or Martin Landau.

Seb Bach (sp?) from rock band Skid Row, is a big fan. On the MTV cribs show, they visited his ranch - he kept all his comics in these metal cases and cabinets and was like "if the house burns down, I don't mind as long as the comics are safe"

One for UK posters - Jonathan Ross is a massive comic fan he literally has turned one room of his house into a comic Library, plus he co-owns a Comic shop in London

Michael Clarke Duncan...isn't he the guy who played the Kingpin? Michael Chiklis was a Fantastic Four fan which is why he wanted to play The Thing.

Wizard did an article on this awhile back and they listed like 100 celebs

Shaq's also a big fan

Sean Astin.
Remember a few years ago he went and bought like, 300 issues of FF at a high profile comic ship or something and everyone freaked out because they thought he was researching Mr. Fantastic or was going to direct...
Turns out he just likes FF. :o

What comics does Tori Amos read besides Gaiman's stuff?

I've never liked Skid Row much, but that's awesome. :D

Gilliam is another who doesn't surprise me, and Landau is someone who does. What has Dawson written? Anything actually published?
