what do you think about marvel rebooting inhumans?

Prior to the rumor I had never considered they could appear in Ms Marvel but it makes a lot of sense. Before Inhumans went to TV. Diesel was rumored to be pushing hard for the role of Black Bolt so I'm glad they're revisiting the idea if true.

It hasn’t been confirmed they’re rebooting the Inhumans. It’s only been rumored that they’re casting Black Bolt and Maximus for the Ms Marvel show. If the rumor is true — cool. Marvel can do what the comic books have done for years, and pretend that bad stories didn’t exist and do a do-over. The Inhumans was like a bad run of comics that can easily be wiped away from continuity and replaced with something better. Hardly anyone saw the television show before ABC put it out of its misery so Marvel will have a much easier time doing a reboot of that then they will with Daredevil(if they go in that direction) because the bar has been lowered so much.

So the Inhumans are kind of in the same boat as the Fantastic Four are now in when it comes to its state as a franchise. After Fan4stic, Marvel Studios will reboot the FF into their universe eventually.

Vin Diesel as Black Blot would be a disaster. You need an actor to get across a lot with body language and his eyes.

Overall, I just think it's overkill with Eternals not even released yet and an X-Men film in development.

The Eternals and X-Men are precisely why (well, at least partially why) I'm skeptical of the rumor. You don't really need to go all that in depth with the royal family and all that to do Kamala's origin.

They certainly need to at some point, as they have so much potential, but it may be a bit soon. Never watched the awful looking show, but plenty of others did.

I think they could actually fit in perfectly as part of the cast of Captain Marvel. They both have a shared history with the Kree Empire so the paths could cross for a story. Maybe even in the Captain Marvel 2. Captain Marvel helps defend the Inhumans from a Kree attack or something.

They don't need to be given there own franchise (yet). They can just exist in the MCU.
