Judging from comments by James Gunn I hope we will see Adam Warlock in part three.

Given that the High Evolutionary was tied into the original Warlock series and that his thing is evolving animals I hope he is shown to have been the one who created Rocket.

Keep those Kirby concepts coming...

I am expecting Warlock to be viewed as a villain for part of the movie. He is basically being raised in Ayesha's territory but he will realize something is wrong. Hopefully we get some Magus hints too.

I'd like Kraglin to come back, Lylla...that's an interesting idea about the High Evolutionary and obviously the 4 issue Ranger Rocket series about the evils of Capitalism wouldn't be used in a Disney film...and Angela and Agents of SHIELD's first season mentioned a Dr. Vaughn repeatedly so why haven't we had Quasar yet? Unless that's why season five is in space?

Honestly, I don't know if we're getting the original Captain Marvel or they're skipping straight to Carol Danvers. Also, I grew up with Richard Ryder as Nova but I prefer Sam Alexander especially when the films don't have Latino heroes who aren't covered in paint or turn out to be Hydra.

Honestly, I want more than just one more GOTG movie and an extended cameo in Infintity War.

The characters of GOTG have so much heart and humour that honestly I'd love a couple more GOTG films at least. As a group I find them more engaging than the Avengers or X-Men.

I was one of those people who loved GOTG vol 2, and felt it was critically underrated. There's so much scope for this merry band of misfits to develop,I feel that one more film wouldn't do them justice.

I am aware of that, it just makes me sad so I will reject it until evidence makes it irrefutable.

The entire movie series is largely based on the modern incarnation of the team from the D&A run, though (right down to Gunn wanting to use Warlock in the sequel) and Gunn seems to be a fan of it. In fact he personally asked them to write the prequel comic for the first movie that was about Nebula's origin.

I was under the impression that Gunn only used the 2008 team because that's the team Marvel wanted him to use... I guess not. Maybe I should read more of his interviews. I mean, don't get me wrong, if Phyla is who he ultimately choose to use I'll be happy. I do want to see her, especially since she's the only Quasar I'm actually familiar with.
