So in Begins, Ra's claimed that the League of Shadows was responsible for the fall of the Roman Empire, being responsible for the Black Plague in Europe and subsequent fire of London in 1666. So what else might the fictional League have been behind?

I doubt they could have caused the San Francisco Earthquake of 1907...

Likewise, I doubt they could have cause Hurricane Katrina - if such happened in the Bat-verse.

I could see them being behind 9/11...

The Great Chicago Fire, perhaps.

The Great Depression of 1929? Perhaps such was the model for trying a depression in Gotham...

What else?

Holy conspiracy theories!

It wasn't the Al-Quaeda who did the 9-11 attacks! It was the League of Shadows!

They were definitely responsible for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

They were responsible for:

Burned popcorn
AIDS
The Fall of Rome
Hurricane Katrina
The deaths of Heath Ledger, Stan Winston, George Carlin, Bernie Mac, Issac Hayes, and Abe Vigoda (Wait...He's still alive?)
Star Wars: Clone Wars
Genital Herpes
Black People

That's wrong on so many levels but I busted out laughing
