With the success of Captain Marvel fresh in the air I thought this would be an interesting topic.
It seems like we are finally getting past a stage where female superhero movies are known for being utterly terrible, train wrecks likes Catwoman and Elektra seem to be a thing of the past. With the likes of Wonder Woman and now Captain Marvel showing these movies can be just as successful as their male lead counterparts and Birds of Prey & a highly anticipated Black Widow movie coming in the next few years.
Now with in mind I thought it would be interesting to see what list of female superhero's you would like to see most helm their own film. (Don't have it give a list if their is just one specific character you would like to see)
Rogue

One of the X-Men characters that I always felt didn't quite get done justice under the Fox banner was Rogue. Not a personal knock on Paquin it just felt that the character was sort of slotted in without that much concern and just sort of stayed in the background after the first movie. With an upcoming return to Disney soon to be done I think it could be the right time for them to give her own movie. Not only could it be a visually stunning experience with Rogue taking powers from multiple individuals but since Captain Marvel has already been introduced they could easily do a different take on Rogue absorbing her powers.
Barbara Gordon

I think quite a lot of people on here know already that Batman is my favourite superhero so it comes as no surprise that one of the female superheroes I would like to see is under the bat-family banner. What I think could make for a truly interesting focal point of a movie would be her conflicting relationships with Bruce and her father. Having her conflict between whether Bruce's brand of vigilante justice or her father Jim's strict following of the law is the way to go and likely finding her own happy medium somewhere in between.
Spider-Woman

Now today I came across a list of all the Sony Spider-Man films in some stage of development, safe to say there was a lot. One noticeable absence however was Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew would make for a welcome addition to Sony's Spider-Man universe they are trying to create. With a power set different enough to make her interesting and one of the more striking costumes out there Drew could be a little lesser known character who could make a big splash, I mean web.
Which female characters would you like to see?
