If Marvel owns Captain Britain would they be able to use Betsy just without the Psylocke name since she was there quite a bit prior to X-Men? Seems similar to the Scarlet Witch situation.

Not really. Im pretty sure Psylocke was one of the characters actually named in whatever licensing agreement considering she was without a doubt a mainstream X-man when that was made. And she has since been used. She doesnt even have any significant history outside of the X-men franchise. Her time in the Captain Britain book pre-debut, is really a blip. She's not really a grey area character like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch

Lets sat a CB series goes forward, Marvel can give him a blonde sister, but they'll have to alter her backstory. She likely may not be a twin and she definitely wont be able to be called Elizabeth/Betsy. It would be a new character inspired by Psylocke, but it wont for legal reasons, actually be her

After she was introduced in the 70's Captain Britain, didn't she become Captain Britain herself in the 80s series prior to X-Men? Or am I tripping...

Been awhile and I can't remember much myself. Those connections seem pretty heavy to me though. They span through alot of series pre and post X-Men.

Manifold? He was in Secret Warriors and then Avengers (my first introduction to him was the Infinity event). He was the guy teleporting everyone onto Builder spaceships. Fesi, not Fasi, btw.
