What the hell is the point of suffering or even pleasure? All memories eventually fade. The space you occupy now will eventually be engulfed by the sun. Is there any reason why we must endure suffering, why we must pursue pleasure?

If you made a robot that could feel pain or pleasure, what the hell would be the point? cuz we're the robots.

simple, it's to occupy time with. otherwise we end up having plenty of time wasted where we can't function productively for the greater goal at the workplace or rest and either top up on substinance or rest while sleeping.

14 hours a day is a long time,

did you hear about that guy emokidohio21 on youtube. ah man he was this emo and people (myself included) made him really angry. then we found out it was a joke. i was way disappointed.

he kept making video blogs and he joined my other forum. man hahaha

Neither is more meaningless or valuable than the other. They are two sides of the same coin, both serving to provide motivation to human beings. We pursue productive lives because we mostly prefer pleasure and would rather not suffer. For some, though, pleasure can be wrought from suffering (whether their own or someone else's) and in certain instances suffering can certainly be the result of too much pleasure. The two provide a way for people to find balance in their lives.
