Apocalypse getting rid of the world's nukes.

that was nice
i liked how he referenced babylon and sticks... shout out to TAS
anything scene with Cyclops was win for me
He actually said "You can fire your arrows from the tower of babel, but you can never strike god".

Easily the Force! Had I not been spoiled by that damn tv spot I probably would have cried which is something I usually laugh at others for claiming to do.

1. Quicksilver at the Mansion
2. Cyclops taking out Xavier's favorite tree
3. Prologue in Ancient Egypt
4. Phoenix around Jean

Jean coming through the door at the end I thought was awesome, and everything that followed.

Scott blowing up the tree and his first two encounters with Jean.

That was a nice little character moment and a way to juxtapose the new culture with what Apoc would've been used to.

I liked that Ororo had a crew of little thieves.

Quicksilver and the prologue were my favs.

Alot of good moments with Scott and Jean though.

1. The opening scene, those Egyptian men are so damn fine :ilv: and the ancient horsemen were just so fierce!
2. Don't worry there's not much to see, Scott
3. You are not the only one here who can't control powers
4. Psylocke slicing that car and showin' everybody how its done :ilv: What an epic entrance!
5. Psylocke and Angel scene at the climax, seeing Psylocke ran in that costume was just, slay-worthy! She's so fierce! And that psionic knife was everything to me okay! Love it!!!
6. The [blackout]Phoenix Force Awakens[/blackout]. It was amazing! :ilv:
7. The look that Queen Psylocke gave to everyone at the end! Psylocke Saga Begins Now!

1. The opening prologue scene.
2. The Quicksilver scene.
3. Apocalypse's one badass moment: getting rid of all the nukes.
4. The amazing [blackout]Phoenix[/blackout] cheering moment.
5. Magneto and his family in the woods.
6. Magneto and Jean [blackout]rebuild the school.[/blackout]
7. "Who the **** are you?"

You know writing them all out, I am more secure than ever in my enjoyment of this movie. The hate is so intense for it in some circles that I was starting to get depressed for even saying, "It has its moments." But it really does, so I am at peace with it, disappointment and all.

Hands down the best moment for me is when Apocalypse is choking Mystique and goading Charles to come out of hiding. He is absolutely distraught about his students suffering. Watching that was heart-wrenching, McAvoy nailed it.

I also enjoyed everything around the mansion. Nearly all of the Xavier scenes were fantastic. Great scenes with his students, particularly Scott and Jean. His bumbling with Moira was fun too.

I definitely agree with this. That's also probably the most tense moment of the entire climax. Apocalypse seemed genuinely threatening there. If they were only a bit more physical with him, I think people would've found him more imposing.

Everything with the young students and mansion was great. Even though they had their moments cut down a bit, the younger actors really nailed their parts and got the camaraderie of the X-Men down.

Weapon X sequence was also great. Really dug it.

That scene was where i realized how much i liked J-Laws Mystique. My heart was reeling. like pls dont kill my baby

[BLACKOUT]Phoenix[/BLACKOUT] scene. Possibly my favorite moment in the franchise. I'm sooo glad Ottman lied about that. LOL

Did anyone catch the callback to [BLACKOUT]Nightcrawler praying on the plane after someone's death? It was Havok here but obviously a callback to Jean's in X2.[/BLACKOUT]

1. Cyclops get his 1st power red ligtning eyes in the school

2. Apocalypse recruit Magneto in factory

3. Magneto, Storm, Cyclops and Jean with Phoenix form crush Apocalypse

Apocalypse's defeat was definately the highlight of the whole movie,I also liked Apoc launching the nukes in space.

- The opening titles
- Quicksilver's rescue scene
- The Berzerker rage scene
- The death of Magneto's family in the woods
- The Return of the Jedi scene because not only was it a dig at that film and X-Men: The Last Stand but it's also meta as hell because X-Men: Apocalypse is the worst film in the McAvoy/Fassbender trilogy. Bryan Singer deserves much respect for that.

Globally i think the movie is organic and in an emotional axis, in the ways it was a made. When i watch some super hero movie i just feel it's kind of a big machinry

- The opening scene, just breathtaking.
- Mystique talking German and her blue dress.
- Quicksilver, basically everything he does and says. The same goes for Nightcrawler.
- The scene in Moira's office.
- Definitely also Storm drinking coke and saying 'Welcome to the 80s' with a Kenian accent.
- Phoenix effect!
- Apocalypse using Xavier/cerebro was very scary and showed how poweful he is.
- Shirtless Angel.
- The Auschwitz scene was also very powerful, daring and uncomfortable (maybe a bit controversial, but I don't think they've 'used' or showed disrespect to the victims and its history). It worked within the story and fitted in with Magneto's background.
- Like Warhammer said, the Return of the Jedi scene.

My absolute favourite moment may be a bit underrated. It's the scene on the jet right before they reach Egypt. It's just the young mutants rather casually talking about what's to come, showing their uncertainties, asking Mystique how to deal with it. Then Mystique reminisces about Beast's and her younger days (FC), about being a hero, about using her powers and also about the friends they've lost. It's such a quiet, sad moment and JLaw did well in that scene.

- The Egypt Prologue
- The Cerebro conversation between Charles and Erik and the subsequent scene where Apocalypse takes over.
- The Alkali lake scenes were nice, I liked seeing Stryker getting the best of the mutants for a while
- The Phoenix force
- Apocalypse breaking Quicksilver's leg
- The Psylocke/Mystique fakeout (I honestly didn't see it coming)
- I liked Magneto saving his coworker and then playing it cool
- I really liked the movie a lot

Phoenix force - top fave
Psylocke - second fave (Every single scene)
Magento - third fave (every single scene)
Xaxier - fourth fave ( every single scene)
Cyclops - fifth fave (every single scene)
Apocalypse - sixth fave
Moira - seventh fave...well feck I like all the characters I listed here but damn so hard to choose cause every character not listed still had great moments throughout the film. :) but those i listed were the standouts for me.
