Basically, in other words not a looooooooong paragraph that'll take an hour to read, what is your dream sequel to BB?

Movie title?
Villians?
New characters?
Casting?
Cameos?
Director?

Note-I am not implying that I have a problem with any of the info that we already know. I'm just giving anyone the oportunity to speak their own personal opinions.

The introduction of Harvey Dent/origin of Two Face as the underlying story with Joker as the main villain.

Title: THE DARK KNIGHT

Directed by: Christopher Nolan

Cast: Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine), James Gordon (Gary Oldman), Harvey Dent (Liev Schrieber or Joaquin Phoenix though Clive Owen or John Cusack are good too), Kate Beckingsale as Selina Kyle, The Joker (Heath Ledger), Rupert Thorne (Brian Cox), and Sal Maroni (Ray Liotta). The Penguin (Bob Hoskins in a minor role.) Harley Quinzel (Reese Witherspoon or Brittany Murphy).

Cameos: The Ventriloquist

Synopsis: Borrowing from "The Long Halloween" and Batman's first outting as the Dark Knight.

It has been months since Batman and Jim Gordon made it their number one priority to bring down a Joker-card weilding serial killer. So far no new leads have come up, rumors are being dispelled, and the still corrupted Gotham Police Department feels like scrapping their efforts.

Till one hot tip emerges and Batman finds the killer. The killer is actually just a struggling comedian needing quick cash to support him and his pregnant wife. We see a backstory behind this tragic soul, see him get evicted from his apartment, go from one job to the next, till he eventually gives up, and joins the mob.

As an iniation he is made to wear a red mask (hood would look to weird) and bomb the chemical plant that fired him. Batman comes crashing in just before they can and a few of the mobsters tussle with him but with no prevail. The masked figure however doesn't want to fight Batman and in a leap of faith, he jumps into the vat of chemicals altering his skin, hair, and personality. Now he turns into a bleached skin, green haired, deranged psychopath.

The GPD gets mad at Gordon for allowing the killer to slip through Batman's hands and plan on firing him, but Batman comes in defense of Gordon and takes the blame.

Enter Harvey Dent. Dent is not so trusting of Batman as Gordon is, but Dent and Wayne respect one another and become buddies. Eventually, down the road Batman, Captain Jim Gordon, and District Attorney Harvey Dent collaborate to legally bring down three mob families: (Maronis, Thornes, and Cobblepots).

However, someone is beating them to it by bringing them down, newly reformed and ready to make the city laugh and cry till they die, The Joker emerges. And a series of hits are made on all three mob-families. Evidence and rumors eventually pile up against Harvey Dent himself, who faces mounting stress at home with his troubled wife Gilda, and in his professional life. Gilda just wants to settle down and have a child, but Harvey is determined to solve the mystery of who this vigilante calling himself The Joker really is.

The Joker while doing everything alone aligns himself with the Cobblepots saying the hits on their lives were of the Maronis and not himself. He makes a pact with Cobblepot that if they worked together they could rule Gotham like kings. Cobblepot agrees and being an arms-dealer gives Joker enough firepower to dispose of both families. Unfortunately, Batman using his detective work figures out that the Penguin has been smuggling guns to the highest bidder and beats up Penguin and his gang. The Joker however escapes.

Batman (like he did to Flask) gets Penguin to talk and Penguin tells him Joker is headed to kill both the Maronis and Thornes. The Joker being as slippery and crafty as he is figures if he attacks the Maronis, they'll go after the Thornes thinking it was them, and the both will kill each other off leaving him to bask in the riches. Batman warns Gordon and Dent and three all worked together to make sure he doesn't.

Joker is sent to Arkyum while the Maronis and Thornes are sent to jail, but a certain cameo comes to Sal's cell who slips him a jar of acid for his trial. Sal hides it in a wall with a loose brick beside his bed.

Meanwhile... in Akryum Joker meets Harley Quinzel and flirts and woos her till she eventually becomes infatuated with him and madly in love and by movie's end she calls him either "Puddin' " or "Mr. J " and in movie 3 she'll let him out to wreak havoc again.

OMG! Your outline is so close to the fan-film I'm planning to make!:wow:

Don't feel like I took you idea, because I was writing a screenplay similar to this outline a while ago:csad:

why is there a thread on this: your sequel, your sequel ideas type thing every week.....

Movie title? Batman Ascends

(Sort of symbolising "The Rise Of Batman", which is what the story would be about)

Villians? The Joker, Sal Maroni... Maybe Harley Quinn, though she'd be used to a very small degree.

New characters? Harvey Dent, Leslie Thompkins, Julie Madison, Harvey Bullock, Chief O'Hara

Casting? Batman/Bruce Wayne: Christian Bale, Alfred: Michael Caine, Captain James Gordon: Gary Oldman, The Joker: Adrien Brody, Rachel Dawes: Katie Holmes, Harvey Dent: Edward Norton, Leslie Thompkins: Sally Field (I'm going somewhat younger than usual, given this is Batman's early career), Julie Madison: Rachel McAdams, Sal Maroni: James Caan, Harley Quinn: Unknown (given amount of screentime), Harvey Bullock: James Gandolfini, Chief O'Hara: Unkown (given amount of screentime)

Cameos? Barbara Gordon (In the vein of Gordon's son in BB... just a redheaded little girl), Oswald Cobblepot (At an event in the background), Selina Kyle (name only)

Director? Christopher Nolan. ...Mother****ers.

In short, this would sort of be a struggle between Bruce Wayne and Batman, mentally. Wayne tries to restore his father's reputation while Batman tries cease the mob influence on Gotham once and for all. This is all complicated with Bruce having recurring nightmares about his entire world being destroyed at the hands of Joe Chill, Wayne losing touch with his allies like Alfred and Rachel due to his delving deeper into the mentality of Batman over Bruce Wayne, and of course... the arrival of The Joker, who wants to take the spotlight as Gotham's number one 'stage act'... even if he has to kill to do it.

Alot of it would be based off of elements of Long Halloween (Maroni's involvement, Harvey and Gordon's allieance with Batman), Haunted Knight (Bruce's recurring nightmares, Leslie's involvement), and The Man Who Laughs (Some of Joker's crimes, though not his motivations).
