What Marvel Heroes can work as a Live Action TV series?

I also think an Academy X would be a far better TV Show than X-Men. There would be less details to complain about and I imagine it would be easier to write stories. If there was an X-Men show, there's just too much risk of changing something that makes fans turn rabid.

The X-men films did all that. They were executed perfectly, excluding 3 and fandom loved them.

Fandom liked X-men: Evolution, too. That changed a lot.

Besides, it would be harder to cast.

Not harder then any other show.

The others i am unsure of bc I didn't like the Blade series at all.

Blade's tv show had potential. It just didn't reach it.

The series did a better job with quality then WB did with BOP, though.

I agree. IMO, it would be better as a TV series than as a film. It's just so serialized, how are you going to tell a good Runaways story in 2 hours?

MOON KNIGHT all the way...but it would definitely have to be an "R-rated" HBO series or something. That would be so freakin' cool! It would make me keep my HBO, that's for sure! I'd love to see his origin told visually whether it be on the big or small screen. (Besides, I'z gots me a purdy big screen TV!) The epic Egyptian tomb scenes, MERC & urban warfare and Bushman's brutal savagery...sign me up!

I could really go for the same with a DAREDEVIL series too! With a good even mix of superhero butt-kicking action and courtroom drama (with a little comedic Foggy Nelson back & forth for good measure...that's the ticket, bay-bee!)
Heck, HBO could do one and if it's successful enough, do the other too and have occasional vs./team-ups with each other ala Marvel's other current film prospects and toss in various easter eggs from the movies to remind you that they are all part of the same universe.

I think Runaways would be a hit! I guess most of us, besides you, were thinking of bigger characters that are more widely known. But hey, Runaways could do real well.

Luke cage, simpe...weekly problems being solved in the hood with cameos (maybe shield, iron fist) and longer storylines attached to the subplots. Plus u can have villians appear that would never be strong enough in the movie version due to lack of interest...BUT any villian in a t.v. show takes center attention. (thoghts??)

Effects: Bullets bouncing off him, cars being crushed by his punches, guys being thrown 30 ft, Luke running thru brick walls etc.

You know, aside from the potential expense of Reed's stretching, Fantastic Four could be an AWESOME Sci-fi show.

^The show Charmed (I know don't crusify me) did the stretching effect pretty good on one episode. It was better than the movie IMO.

I think Captain Britain and MI:13 would be a great TV series. Small, central cast of interesting characters, great area to bring in other great Marvel Characters (Betsy Braddock, Sersi and other Avengers, the orig. Human Torch)
and let's not forget that there's a skrull who looks like Jonh Lennon

Both the punisher and daredevil could easily work well in as a tv show as long as they could kept a good balance between the action and story.Thinking about it I would love to see both of them get there own shows.
