But, Arad appears to be saying that the follow-up is a remake – an odd choice that doesn’t seem entirely necessary in my mind. I’d rather see a HULK continuance that is “truer” in essence and vibe to its source material, than to watch yet another re-hashed origin story.

You do not know how boring origi stories ar egetting. Personally, the first hulk movie is great. At least it was more introspective than "Oh, i'm a nerd, i must wear tights and fight this villain that just happens to appear at th same time as my superhero alter ego".

What movie would you like to see being remade the most out of 20 older movies i have decided to poll. I am not a big expert on really old films. So most of mine will be between 1970 -1990 but a couple well known movies may make the poll . Now i don't men a tv remake of these films. I mean a big screen adaptation.

Personally I would like to see the X-men movies remade, the first one was a bland mess and the second one was a bland mess, that although better than the first, still missed the mark.

Ryan Reynolds would make a perfect Hawk-Eye.

Will Ferrell could be Trapper John if he toned it down a bit.

Sarah Wynter from the second season of 24 is like a clone of Hot Lips

But what i really want to see remade is Flash Gordon.
He-man and Excalibur need to be remade too.
He-man because he never should have left Eternia, and Excalibur, well, because it's king arthur.

The James Bond series is the most popular and the biggest franchise in cinema history and there are more excellent Bond movies than there are crap ones needless to say even the average bond movies whipe the floor with Raimi's spidey movies.

I would really like to see a fairly faithful following of Boorman's Excalibur though with better FX, and maybe tweaking a few things here and there.

I would like Mordred's role beefed up. I loved his golden armor, but I liked the more manipulative Mordred in the miniseries Mists of Avalon. And extend Arthur and Mordred's final battle.

I so totally agree. I haven't seen the movie in years, but I loved it. The script would need to be beefed up for a remake, but I thought it was great.

There is not one film on that list that should be remade. Especially The Wizard Of Oz, Ghostbusters, Blazing Saddles (the PC editing that would be done would ruin it) and The Ten Commandments (nothing with Charlton Heston's name on it should be remade).
