What scenes would you cut?

let's try to keep this thread specifically to scenes/dialogue/certain shots that you would cut out. no substitues please. no "i wish they did this instead."
for starters i would get rid of the female news reporter during the final battle. her and her crappy acting and accent can go to hell. t: i would also get rid of all the raimi kids in the film, especially the girl with the camera. that scene went on way too long. spider-man could possibly be getting killed and you have jj arguing with an 8 year old. nice job taking the audience out of the moment.

I enjoyed those scenes myself...the only scene I would take out is Peter's dance number in that jazz club. His other dance scene was needed though.

The kids talking and what not made me laugh, seeing how Spider-Man is a kid-friendly character, that aspect was kinda cool, since the last two didn't show that.

I hated the reporter, but if I were the director, I wouldnt cut the scene out. I would have Sandman kill her off.

I couldn't agree more with the ANNOYING reporter. Get her the hell out of there. The kids weren't as bad, but yeah, that "wicked cool!" line makes me want to punch babies.

The female reporter based on the grounds that the actress was absolutely appalling (it hurts me when I see actors/actresses who are that bad getting work). And the American flag shot because it was just so pointless.

I would cut out all those annoying flashbacks.

I would make Peter and Harry's 2nd fight about 8 minutes long with violence that pushed the PG-13 rating.

I would cut out the scenes that messed up the final battle so that it could be one big battle.

i watched it again last night and i realized that if they cut out his strutting down the street and the anchorman jazz scene i would have liked it so much better. the strut down the street was bad, but when he went in the store and came out clapping and thrusting it just got even worse.

anyway i would keep the scenes in the jazz club though where he was dancing with gwen, cuz its good for showing his dark side to MJ, and i would keep him beating up on the bouncers and the MJ slap, but just get rid of the anchorman part. the editor really screwed up on the scene where MJ dumps pete, they cut to Pete full out crying way to fast that it makes the scene funny. i would also cut out the 2 boys, and american flag(the entire audience laughed at its cheeziness) and half of what the reporter said, i mean the part where she says something like "it is appaling, the brutality of it..." it just came out so badly. and get rid of the butler

The only scene that i thought took away form the movie was JJJ asking the kid for the camera. It was too long.

Keep JJ yelling for "Parker" and then cut back to the fight. no need for the girl.
