I don't know but I do like these titles alot.

Batman vs. The Joker
Batman: War on Crime
Batman:War in Gothatm

I think it should just be called 'Batman'. Sure all of you 89' will cry foul, so many movies are being re-made these days nobody else will really care. WB decided to reboot the franchise and start from scratch. This next one has the joker in it, so why not just call it Batman as well? Its about a name that can sell.

Im down for 'Batman' or 'Dark Knight'.

I voted for The Dark Knight. I honestly think Escellation is a horrible title name...I highly doubt the studio would call it something like that. However, like Gordon said, "I've been wrong before."

BATMAN DEFIANT is kind of growing on me. If the movie has a lot to do with the Batman and the Joker interfering with the mobs plans and causing a lot of trouble for everyone.

Batman and Gordons Excellent Adventure

I like Escalation but, as a previous poster said, we dont know the story so how can we decide?
Unless I missed something Joker as the main villian hasnt been confirmed anyway.
I'm not going to proper vote because you spelled escalation wrong :p

I want Batman: The Long Halloween - I voted Batman: Haunted Knight because I think the title could work very well. For one HK wasnt a very popular Bat book - so the fact that it is also a comic name isnt that big. Two the name is very good for a Batman story IMO.

I still very much disagree with naming a film after a graphic novel that the story is not based on. People knock "Batman 2" for lack of originality, and yet some people want to just steal a graphic novel title. It just doesn't make sense to advertise a movie called "Batman: The Long Halloween" that isn't actually The Long Halloween. If I see a movie called The Long Halloween, I expect it to be about the Holiday killer and whatnot. If a movie is called The Killing Joke, Barbara Gordon better be crippled.

Another main problem I have is the confusion it might cause. I mean, we'd essentially have two Batman stories with the exact same title, and I'd be forced to forever specify which I one was referring to. And what if sometime down the future they decided to actually adapt TLH as an animated film (apparently DC is starting to adapt graphic novels), it would make it even more confusing.

Escalation is also a title I have much hatred for. No real reason behind it, just that it sounds stupid. It will forever conjure up that mock poster of Batman riding an escalator (the poster isn't to blame though, i felt this way before the poster came about). It's a silly title, and will in no way be marketable.

Just do Batman II, unless you can come up with a good sounding subtitle. That's subtitle, not a verb to stick at the end. Something similar to "X-Men: The Last Stand" would be nice. A graphic-novel-esque title, without actually taking one from an existing graphic novel. Still, Batman II would probably be ideal. Simple and effective. And it'll finally get people to stop calling Begins a prequel.

I like Escalation. It rings from the ending to the first one.

Naming it like a graphic novel would be bad, unless it's BATMAN YEAR ONE......but, who knows.

Batman II sounds like a cop out, and wouldn't exactly ring well with Batman Begins already out. I mean, I think if they were going to do that, they would have left Begins out of the title. So, I think we're not getting any numbers b/c of that.

Do you mean calling Batman Begins "Year One"? I've heard people suggest Year One as a title for the second, and I have to say it's probably my least favorite title yet. Imagine it, you just saw a restart to the Batman franchise, and are awaiting the sequel, then you learn the title of the upcoming batman movie... "Batman: Year One". What?! Didn't they already do an origin story?! It would just be confusing, as Year One sounds very blatantly like an origin story (since it was an origin story). Besides, he's already been active a while, so you'd have to call it "Batman: The Last 3/4ths of Year One". or perhaps "Batman: Months 4-12".

Then again, we coud adopt that as the naming scheme for the new Batman series. Call the third one "Batman: The Early Days" followed by "Batman: Beginnings" "Batman's First Adventure" and "Batman: A Prequel" (it wouldn't be a prequel though).

Well, I think you can call it Batman Year One b/c it'll be hist first actual year. But, I've heard that the film will take place already a year after the end of BEGINS. So, if that's true the title would just be crap.

I guess they could probably go with something that hints at the Joker. Like Wild Card, or Die Laughing, maybe?

I'm guessing Nolan already has a name ready, and probably already had one from the point of naming the first one.

bantman evolves is currently my favourite. don´t know why, but it just seems to fit

Batman II is enough.

Or maybe Batman: The Legend, which sounds not bad.

I want to hear something about the story before I think of a name.

Considering Batman's gallery of rogues, everyday in Gotham could be Halloween, so you never know, it could work.

It'd be cool to have a Halloween themed Batman film.

i think Batman 2 would be fine, it would also show people that it is actually a restart of the series (yes some people still don't know).

Escalation dosn't work for me, it just.... dosn't. There isn't many words that would work in the same way Batman Begins did...

maybe Batman 2 : Aftermath :up::down

Fear and Laughing in Gotham City

Batman Episode II: Attack of the Jokes

Batman's Revenge
Batman: A New Threat
Batman: The Joker Begins
Batman: New Threat Rising
Batman: Rise Of The Joker
Batman: Close To The Edge
Batman: Going For The One
The Batman

This is just incase the rumors are true. If Ra's Al Guhl is alive he would be in one of the sequels I hear. That is why I came up with that title. I actually doubt he is alive unless he was revivied by the lasarus pit in between either Batman Begins and Batman II or Batman II and Batman III. I only put that title up for fans that belive he survived somehow. As for me, he is dead. No one could have survived that blast. If he did, I don't want to see a Ra's Al Guhl living on life support, barley speaking, and covered in 3rd degree burns all over his body. That is what would have happened if he survived but was caught in the explosion anyway.
i would love it if he lived.....

he IS a ninja after all.:) .........maybe he pulled a hudini

i just wouldnt want them to ruin it in the title.......it should be a surprise, like barbosa being alive in potc2

I love how the majority of people want the title to be misspelled ;)
