What would you do with 600 million dollars?

Two chicks at the same time,

You win the thread for that reference.

People who go from nothing to everything soo quickly usually wind up breaking apart their families/commit suicide/etc. Its pretty ridiculous how dark the other side is to winning all that money.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Money is a true test of family and friends.

How many of them would just view you as an ATM machine and how many would have unconditional love for you?

and do you really want to find out the answer to those questions? :woot:

Its sad, but no I don't. My mom/dad/little brother and sister I would give everything to. I am in eternal debt to my parents for letting me move away and find my dreams. I would spoil the CRAP out of my siblings for the rest of my days lol.

I'm conflicted about supporting my family outside of wife, kids and mother.

They've never been much of a support system and I have my doubts how much they even like/respect me as a human being.

Plus when you support someone you don't want to take away their drive to live and succeed at things.

Lastly, you could actually help tens of thousands of people who desperately need it globally. Not just a handout but investing in tiny yet extremely helpful infrastructure like wells and micro-loans.

These strangers may not care where the money came from but if that's the reason your giving you're pretty much screwed anyway.

Thats why I initially never wanted to tell my brother and sister if I won a lot of money. I wanted them to be successful in their own right. Thats a good call.

Pay off debt.
House for me, the wife, and kids.
House for my brother.
House for my mother-in-law.
Renovations for my parents.
New cars all around. (One of which would me a new Camaro SS turned into a Firebird by Chip Foose.)
Vacations.
Set up a business of some kind.

And, oh yeah. Be for all of that, $10,000,000 to A.I. duPont Children's Hospital!

Make my own goddamn Justice League film because WB ain't instilling much confidence.

Adding to that, or perhaps simply rephrasing, I'm in the same boat. Beyond my mum, sister, one remaining grandparent and a single aunt I'm really not close to any of my family. Aunts, uncles, cousins, most live overseas and the ones who don't I see about as often as the ones who do. I can't imagine calling up Uncle Bob who I haven't spoken to in three years and being like "Hey Bob, how's the kids? That's great! Want a million buck?"

I'd be much more likely to help out close friends than far off family.

Another good idea is to get At The Mountains Of Madness finally made.

Fly to Iceland and be trained in the ways of Ninjitsu.

Spend money on superhero gadgets and tech and become a real-life Batman.

Or just buy SEGA, re-hire Yu Suzuki, and immediately begin development on Shenmue III.
