The Amazing Spider-Man What villain or villains would you like to see them kick start the reboot with? Part

He can't support a movie as a primary villain. He's all brawn and no brain. His powers aren't even that special, he's just a big brute.

Well, Rhino can serve a role similar to how Bane will be utilised in TDR.

And what kinda role would that be do you mean? We know nothing about how Bane will be utilised in TDKR yet.

I'd say he'd be utilised more like The Riddler in the sequel after TDKR, The Bat, The Cat and the Riddle.

Obviously but it's also obvious that Bane is a huge muscle bound freak of nature that will serve some sort of physical purpose, which is what can easily be done for Rhino. This isn't rocket science. My point was, if TDR is going to use a charcater like Bane seriously as opposed to the dung pile that was B&R, a similar approach for handeling a character like the Rhino can also be done. It's all in the execution. Great, popular characters can easily be butchered into boring dissapointments and weaker less popular characters can be adapted into interesting protagonists...anything can happen.

Anything that was used in B&R can be considered rubbish. We're in far better hands with Nolan in that regard.

Marc Webb is still unproven in this regard, but I have a good feeling we won't be getting any of the dumb comic book films like B&R again in a hurry. Unless Mark Steven Johnson starts directing something again...

I agree about that but you can't still really compare Bane to Rhino just because they are both incredibly big and muscular. Bane is one of Batman's smartest foes as well as a physical threat. He's also got a more interesting background (though that's obviously just a matter of opinion).

Nolan can make Bane a serious intellectual threat and handle him as main antagonist material and still keep it true to the comics. Rhino's nowhere near that level. Make him more than a big brute and it's just not Rhino anymore, but more of a Bane wannabe.

What I mean is; Rhino shouldn't be used as something else than he is. If Rhino is ever to be used in a film, then let him be just the brutal force of strenght and keep him a secondary villain.

Yeah Rhino would make a good bodyguard character or something...

Yeah, I get that. Rhino should and forever will be a secondary villain but I'm all for a character upgrade if ever there was one for him within reason but I'm not expecting him to be an intellectual strategist. Simultaneously, I dont want him to ever come across the way juggernaut did in Last stand, Keep him strictly as a code red, threatening hired muscle and we're set.

Oh OK I guess I missunderstood you then. Yeah then we both agree about the same thing.

If there ever would be some kind of "upgrade" to Rhino, I'd like it to be that he should be a little more serious and professional, without being Bane-ish. Just make him less goofy and have his huge strenght and rage strike more fear into people. Also, I've said this alot of times before but I'd love for this design to be applied to him in a movie:

Here's a link to the site: http://www.irrfan.com/

Irrfan Khan specifically said that he's NOT playing a creature/mask wearing character, what gives?

Exactly, the people running his site don't know what they're talking about.

Scorpion would be great to see going against Spidey. Though they'd have to introduce Jameson so they can go the Jameson hiring Scorpion route from the comics (can't believe they left Jameson out at all). At least that's what I think they should do if they had Scorpion.

I still think he's uncle Ben's killer. He said he played a pivotal role if I'm not mistaken.

I wonder if its possible to have multiple villains in a Spider-Man movie and still have a good storyline...

Lizard + Shocker ftw

if he was you think he would confirm the villain?
why would an actor spoil the villain 1 year before the premiere?

faboys still think that actors dont lie?

this isnt a Christopher Nolan Film

Sony should just tell who the damn villain(s) are and who's playing the role, instead of BS'ing around with grown ass rusty tail folks.
