Im guessing he means spider-man and villains getting their powers at the same time as eachother and more villains following suit after all of a sudden spidey shows up

Thats exactly what I mean. Im hoping Spidey enters a world already filled with colorful villains. Guys like Hammerhead, Tombstone, Shocker...hell the Looter and Electro! They could already be established and giving the cops hell. Even if we dont get Normam Osborn in this film id love to see the Green Goblin already around, in the shadows perhaps trying to consolidate the mobs.

Raimi's films gave the impression that unless he had a personal errand to run or some villain had an origin that week Pete wouldnt put on the costume.

THE LIZARD would make a great first villain for the new series. A combination of Alien/The Fly/Predator's original films should be the model for how he should be presented on screen.

The Lizard might be the first villian , he should get top billing over proto-type and Ben's killer.

Like I said in the previous thread, I would like to see Tombstone. He would be the perfect foil for Spider-Man in his beginner year. Spiderman gets cocky as he easily beats up criminals but then comes Tombstone who is also superhuman and proves way too strong. You could have a scene where Tombstone beats the crap out of Spidey... Morpheus vs. Agent Smith style!

Since it appears likely that the Lizard will be the main villain in the first movie of the Reboot, I wonder if a) they will do the Origin or b) have a minor villain to fill out the first act while Dr. Connors is established... or c) they will go directly into Dr. Connors experimenting on the regrowth and quickly have the Lizard born, without a need for the first act filler.

Pros and Cons in any of these approaches IMO.

a) origin, been done before. But I would still love to see it done again, and better this time. Uncle Ben's death felt too PG for my liking, and as such.. lacked real impact. But to have the proper impact they need to utilize an actor of Martin Sheen's ability. If they go this route, I expect Uncle Ben and Aunt May's characters to be fleshed out more in flashbacks.

b) minor villain to fill out Act one. Pro - We get to see one of Spidey's lower level villains come to life on the screen. Like Rhino or Shocker. Always a plus, but (Con) with the limited budget (CGI included) I kind of doubt this, and would rather see them spend the money on getting the Lizard "right". Also, it would take away from the story/character development of the main players too.

c) Directly to Connors experimenting and transforming to the Lizard early on. Pro - If they handle it as a mystery and build the tension before the "money shot" of the Lizard this could be good. It would highten the suspense and help with the budget limitations as well. Con - It would mean little development of the bond between Peter and Dr. Connors, although they could flesh this out via flashbacks and interactions with the Connors clan and Peter after the fact.

It's gonna be interesting.. NO DOUBT.

-Have Adrian Toomes seen arguing with Norman Osborn about how Norman is trying to steal his tech.

-Show Norman calling security to have Toomes escorted out of Oscorp after Norman fires him.

-Toomes gets into his flying suit and fights off the guards as they come in to take him away.

-Oscorp alarm goes off and spidey shows up where he fights the Vulture at Oscorp where the fight goes into the city.

-The vulture/spidey fight ends where spidey leaves knocked out webbed up vulture for the cops.

-But when the cops show up,vulture isn't wearing his flight suit.

-At the trial,Oscorp cameras show Toomes in the flight suit attacking Oscorp guards.

-Judge says that Toomes jail sentence will be shorter if he tells them where
the flight suit is.

-Toomes says Norman Osborn must of stole it from him when he was knocked out.

-Toomes goes to prison where his cell mate is Flint Marko,who is another inmate spidey has put there.

-Toomes gets out of jail after five years go by.

-Toomes can build another suit,but it will take him years to do it,so he thinks it will be faster to take his original suit back from Osborn.

-Toomes' cell mate is released from prison shortly after Toomes has.

-Toomes picks up Flint Marko and tells him that he can make him become powerful,powerful enough to kill spidey,to make spidey pay for putting Marko in prison,and powerful to become rich.

-Toomes makes Marko into Sandman.

-Sandman vs Spidey.

-Sandman comes to Toomes and wants Toomes to change him back to being human again,saying all the money he has got from being Sandman is useless to him,because he can't eat,drink,be with a woman.

-Toomes agrees to turn Marko back if he kills Norman Osborn,so Sandman goes to Oscorp to look for Osborn.

-While Sandman is reeking havok at Osborn,Toomes is there looking for his flight suit.

-Oscorp alarm goes off again and spidey shows up to face Sandman again.

-Toomes finds his flight suit and helps Sandman take on spidey.

-Spidey dodges a sand hammer by Sandman and webs Vulture into it by yanking him into it.

-Osborn throws a pumpkin bomb at Sandman that makes him too weak to continue shape shifting to continue the fight.

-Flint Marko and Adrian Toomes are sent back to prison.

the goblin suit is.

-Kingsley says Norman Osborn must of stole it from him when he was knocked out.
