JUSTICE LEAGUE VS FATAL FIVE
Quality = 6/10
Joy = 7/10

An average movie that could have been better. Villain motivations are mostly kaput as they are basically non-entity aside from being fatal, and Green Lantern has a needlessly jerk moment included there for comedy purpose.

Bruce Timm and co did not lose their touch, they have released some bad-average episodes and arcs in their mostly great run of the DCAU, this is one of those middle of the road stuff.

BATMAN & HARLEY QUINN
Quality = 7.5/10
Joy = 8.5/10

It has its low points, but it's not nearly as bad as people claim it is.

Into The Wild

Don't think I would have appreciated it if I saw it 12 years ago.

High Life
For a low budget art house film, it was an interesting attempt to what could have been a greater movie. They got the visuals down well, the performances were stellar, and some of the questions that was asked were interesting. The problems I have is a lot of it doesn't follow logical sense and it's most likely done on purpose because it's a art house film. A lot of the movie is a meta commentary on society and how it relates to space, however it's not at all focused on what exactly it wants to say. That being said Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche were really good in this. The 2nd half was probably my favorite part. Overall, It's not a movie for everyone, it's got some audacious scenes that will be a turn off for a lot of people, but it was a decent moody scifi flick for the indie art crowd.
7.5/10

I feel the same way. High Life never really gets its stride and wanders thematically. Personally, I think its more of a commentary about prison life, ala Shawshank Redemption. What could have really elevated this film is showing Monte (Robert Pattinson) when he was not a celibate then gradually show him evolve throughout the film to become one.

8/10

Gotti (2018)

Kept reminding me of those old Sopranos skits on MADtv. :funny:

6/10

Hey @3rdstone. I rewatched DoFP myself just a couple of days ago :up:

Re your spoiler,
Magneto states later on that he didn't kill JFK, he was actually trying to save him (hence the bullet curving) but failed.

Not putting it in spoilers because the movie has been out for a good number of years.

The thing I liked about that bit was when Magneto tells Charles that he tried to save JFK it was because he was also a mutant. :D

Yes, I've seen a few people give the same suggestion (worded in a pretty blunt way) of just what his mutant ability might have been! :funny:

Watched Speed Racer (live action) this morning. Later today went to see Shaft at the cinema. Loved it.
