It'shlocky and a bit bonkers, with Darth Vader in the mother of all wigs, but the scope and set design is impressive, and Arnie looks like he leapt straight off the page. 6/10

These films could have been huge in the right hands. They have a large following and many of those who haven't read them at least know about them.

I can't even comprehend how brilliant and epic a series of movies that faithfully adapts The Dark Tower could be, they could easily rival Peter Jackson's LotR trilogy if done properly. Such a shame that we're highly unlikely to ever see that. Instead we get crap like that Sony abomination released last year. :csad:

You were never really here

Infinity War

There’s one or 2 things I don’t really like but overall this is one of my all-time favourite films.

La femme la plus assassinée du monde / The Most Assassinated Woman in the World (2018)
Sulla mia pelle / On My Skin (2018)

RPG Real Playing Game and Monster House.

Yeah that was, that was a weird combo.

White Boy Rick

It's a pretty standard true crime bio pic for the most part. Most of the cast deliver a pretty good performance especially Matthew McConaughey and Richie Merritt who carry most of the movie. I'll say the one thing that really stands out is the direction and the cinematography. They really know how to show late70s/early 80s grit and grim, so props to Yann Demange. That being said, it's interesting how as the movie goes along through the years, the environment and pop culture never really changes. By the time you're at the end of the 80s it still feels like it was taking place in the late 70s. Overall, it's a decent movie that you have probably seen done better.
7.5/10
