What would Sony have to do to get you to buy a PS3

Lower the price to about 300 US Dollars, come out with a game I actually want to play, like Shadow of the Colossus 2, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Maybe even World of Warcraft 2. I know there is a Final Fantasy game coming out, but that won't be for a couple of years, so I can wait for one.

Put a $500 model in front of me. Put a solid release date on MGS4, FF13, Lair, who knows what else. Lower the price on their 1080P sets (thanks Sony,1080p or bust, eh? You just lost a sale until the living room gets upgraded!). Find a way for me to play Guitar Hero 2.....before I buy it for the 360.

Honestly, with me, if they release Kingdomhearts 3(if there will be one) on next gen, then I will officially hate Sony forever for forcing me to get one. I hope this won't be the case though.

BTW: I heard somewhere that Sony is announcing a major recall on all consoles or something. Is this true?

Get a better controller.

The Dual Shock is one of the most confortable controllers EVER! I tried out the Sixaxis at Gamestop and I really liked it. It feels more confortable than the Dual Shock 2 (it feels lighter to me) and I like that the R2 and L2 buttons have been turned into Xbox controller styled triggers.

Although giving a few good tweaks to what is already a good controller is nothing compared to what Microsoft did with their controller for the Xbox 360. They turned absolute crap into gold while keeping the basic design. They really deserve praise for redesigning their controller and fixing what was wrong with it.

You know there are other CHEAPER consoles that have great games also.

The Wii goes for $250.00 and has the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and more games such as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Resident Evil: Umbrella Corp Chronicles in development. Also you can download games from the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and Turbo-Grafix 16 on the Virtual Console service.

The Xbox 360 goes for $400.00 and has Gears of War and Dead Rising and more games such as Halo 3, Halo Wars, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Peter Jackson's Halo, Alan Wake, Too Human, Lost Planet, Mass Effect, and Bioshock in development.

i'll be buying one in the next few months or so, probably, but i'll wait until a few more games come out, and they (hopefully) find a way to get the rumble back in their new controller (which is better in every way to the dualshock, with the exception of the lack of rumble)

the price doesn't really bother me, though. it's reasonable, considering you get a console and a blu-ray player, in my opinion.

If Sony came out with the PS4, then I would go buy a PS3 (since the price is sure to drop). I figure by then they'll have a lot of new games for PS3.
