What would the JLA's theme sound like?

I had a poll in the General DC movie forum on what Darkseid's theme would have to be like in a JLA or New Gods movie. Figured I'd move it to the topic of the JLA itself.



Our choices:


Like the TV Theme: The original TV DCAU Justice League theme was great. It was hummable, it was majestic.

Like the Superfriends: I don't mean the narration and such, but the Superfriends theme always had a good tune, almost high-school band like. Doo-doo-doo-doo-dee-doo Doo-dee-doo-doo-doo Doo-doo Dee-do...

Like the Olympic themes: If you don't know what I'm talking about, just wait a week and turn on NBC. Would fit in somewhat with the theme Grant Morrison had of the JLA being modern Olympian Gods.

A medley of Superhero themes: In other words, a "greatest hits" of DC superhero music: the John Williams' Superman theme, the Batman themes, etc.

Like the "Stars and Stripes Forever" and other American patriotic music: Taking the "America" part of JLA to the max, it would be possible to have the JLA theme be based on American patriotic music. I don't like this idea, too jingoistic.

Like the the JLU theme: Like the theme from JLU, which is in my opinion not as good a theme for the league as the original JL theme, but hey.

Like the theme from the Incredibles: More Jazz or Big-Band like.

These days I find myself humming the Superfriends theme a lot...

But seriously folks, I think the whomever does the score should consider the theme songs of all of the Justice League shows over the decades (the one from the Aquaman hour of Adventure, Superfriends, JL, and JLU) and incorporate them in the soundtrack as well as create a new arrangement which would serve as the theme for the film franchise.

nothing patriotic. That way you just alienate people. Plus your main hero is an alien and your main heroine is greek. You also have a martian and the king of atlantis. I get the melting pot idea but it still doesn't say america.

The opening credit sequence would look like a mixture of Casino Royales and Spider-Man 2's... Meaning Very, very cool looking flash animation style interpretations of the origins of the JLA members... The perfect music for this would be "All The Strange , Strange Creatures" not only because its heroic with a capital H but it has so many ebbs and floes to it that each change be could a new characters origin...
