But Spider-Man's already back at his Ultimate status quo, for the most part, so they don't even need to be bothered with that.
It was more of a catastrophe than a crisis.Merging the two universes would be a catastrophic mistake. The only character that would maybe benefit from that is Spiderman, maybe. I respect marvel a lot for not resorting to crises and sticking with their historic continuity, then again i suppose OMD could be considered a "crisis".

Well, I don't THINK they'd ever merge the universes but I do think there will be an event. You see more and more mentioning in the comics. The zombies were in 616 BP and 616 SS in Ultimate Power or Ultimate Universe.Man merging the two universes would be the worst single comic event ever.
