I finished two books recently:

The Great Silence by Juliet Nicolson - The suffering of WWI soldiers and their families would break a sociopath's heart. :csad:

The Floating Lady Murder by Daniel Stashower - Houdini and his brother make for some really humorous detectives, but there wasn't much investigating and you really never get to know the suspects or victim. Plus, the murder's motive is half-baked. Overall pretty good, though.

finished Quidditch through the ages this morning

Love that book Nite. Lecarre always rules. Have you read The Little Drummer Girl? Tailor Of Panama? The Russia House?

It was my first Lecarre novel, I plan getting The Little Drummer Girl next.

Zombies: The Recent Dead

A few pretty good stories, most others were uninteresting.

Not really books but I've been reading quite a few plays from David Mamet:
American Buffalo
The Shawl
Prarie Du Chien
Glengarry Glen Ross
Speed the Plow
Oleanna

alternating between to books right now:

Between the Lines and The Goodbye Quilt

A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs

DOC SAVAGE: The Pirate's Ghost by Kenneth Robeson (Lester Dent)

J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit.

finally got around to reading Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. That was a 500 page suck fest.
