What's The Last Movie You Watched? VIII - Part 3

I think some studio exec found his 14 year old son's script and made a bet that he could get it made. Natalie Portman is stunningly beautiful and a great actress but it's hard to judge her comedic abilities from dross like this, Kutcher is surprisingly likable in his role but his is souless, unfunny, crude drek. 3/10.

I would agree. This predictable nonsense went nowhere.

A History of Violence. Great performances... and Maria Bello in a cheerleader outfit :awesome:

Cradle 2 the Grave

4/10

It had some cool action sequences, but that's about it.The acting was terrible,The plot was stupid. It was a mess.On another note I think they should rename this movie Leather & Denim.

Darkly atmospheric and beautifully shot, an ingenious and morally complex mystery that sees Suchet take the Belgian sleuth to a deeper place than ever before. 9/10.

I've now seen all but two of the Bond films. Those other two are the last Brosnan films, not sure I want to watch them though.

Just got done watching 13 Assassins and hot damn! Very well done movie!

I highly recommend it, if I had more time I would watch it again right now!

Not a fan of the series? Because you just gave the Best Bond film ever made 3.5 out of 5. :oldrazz:

I like Brosnan, but the only great Bond he was in is GE. TWINE is decent, if a bit stiff in direction. It has a good story and probably makes the best use of Bond and M's relationship in a film to date. It's just that Michael Apted struggles to make the action exciting (much like QOS, except that was only boring action).

DAD....you know just watch the first hour online and you'll come away thinking it was pretty decent. That movie has to earn a prize for the most uneven film/quality drop between acts for the early 2000s. It starts like a Connery Bond and then switches gears into Moonraker and AVTAK territory halfway through to horrific results. Be warned.

Misery. Haven't seen this in years. Truly horrifying. I'll never look at sledgehammers the same way again.

TWINE is a guilty pleasure. It's at least enjoyable. And with hot Bond girls. Marceau is gorgeous in it. I'd say it's worth watching for her.

But FRWL is the best Bond film. :awesome:
