Good film with a great cast. Only reason it didn't get a 4 out of 5 is because of the ending. I don't want to ruin anything but lets just say I didn't care for the characters reason/motivation why.

The lesson here folks is to never go in for questioning when police ask you to. Even if you think you're innocent and you think you're trying to help them.

2/5,I forgot how bad this was and it's worse than B&R,It's almost like an Austin Powers type of comedy with Batman characters,I know Batman was once darn campy in the comics&other media and so when seen as a comedy/parody.....It's alright But just extremely out-dated(understandable though)!!!!

4.5/5,Was near perfect to me,I was just disappointed that when they showed Scream.....They didn't talk about the movies partially being about the genre and referencing other horror movies!!(seemed weird to me when they constantly talk about innovation in the genre/it's time-period's and of course as american horror movies)

Raiders of the Lost Ark

I was reading over in another thread that Klaus Kinski kb'd the role of Belloq, as much as I like the force of nature that is Kinski, I think Paul Freeman is much more suitable for the role.

As well as being the smug, pompous, dark version of Indy, he is a right creepy b***** as well I noticed.
That's the great thing about films for me, I might not be able to read people's minds in real life, but films can give you an insight into people's natures that they go to great lengths to keep hidden.

I know these types, I have dealt with them before, the kind who are so obsessive about appearing 100% perfect, correct and beyond reproach, they go to great pains to appear perfect because they have this cold, dark side they are desperate to keep hidden, and have such a massive ego that whenever they are wrong about something, they don't acknowledge it and try to brush it aside before anyone notices.

Let's look at this guy...he boasts that 'there is nothing you have that I cannot take away' to Indy, and later on in the movie, that's precisely what he tries to do with Marion. He wouldn't even be interested in her if she was not with Jones, he talks of her as a possession, of how, 'If she does not do what I wish, you can do what you want with her.'
Also, shifting the mirror to spy on her getting undressed, and trying to get her really drunk so he can bed her.
Marion and Jones have some problems, but at least she knows what she's dealing with when it comes to him, with this other guy? Who knows what else is ticking away in there that he is desperate to keep hidden, what's the name of that old Kylie Minogue song that Nick Cave liked so much? 'Better the Devil You Know.' yeah, that was a good one.

captain america tv movie

Man, you watch that movie anymore and you are going to end up zooming about on a tricycle while waving a dustbin lid about with a fridge magnet stuck to your foreheid, you must've watched that film about 5 times in the last fortnight.

Horribile Bosses

It reminds me of how much I hate authority figures.

I watched it in my Crime and Justice class. Thank God I took that class. I learned a lot from it -- stuff that can really help your ass if you run into the law. They don't have as much power as a lot of people think. Know your rights. Because a lot of people don't and it screws them over. That's the best advice I can give.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - 9/10

I used to think this was cheesy, and it is in areas, but it's all well executed. The film captures the child like wonder what's missing from today's movies. They really captured what makes the books so great and appealing in the first place. They got very fortunate with the casting. Who knew they would all grow into good actors. Columbus was the right choice to capture everything.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - 9/10

Improved upon the first, and a good change in tone. I love that and the mystery plot to it. Columbus still captures that wonder, but he knows that the nature of the plot and adjusts fine to it. Everything feels natural and logical here with the events and actors. That's also something you need to capture properly on screen. You have the books, but you need to figure it out when you actually have actor performing them. Columbus was smart to depart after this.

Dillinger

Richard Dreyfuss as Babyface Nelson? Who the **** was in charge of casting?
