Pretty much, it's the same ***** but with different characters.
I have a raging hatred for those films so any chance I have to slam them, I take it.

I watched the first on DVD and didn't like it and saw the second one with my sister because we just wanted to go to a movie and instantly regretted it. The movies ideas of scares are cabinets opening and closing. CABINETS OPENING AND ****ING CLOSING!!!! And the movies are actually big hits...

Oldboy

5/5

I love this movie but I'm not sure which of the three movies in the vengeance trilogy I like the best.

The 6th Day.

The first time I ever got bored watching a Schwarzenegger movie. :down :(

The Empire Strikes Back (1980 version)

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Wow, really disappointing. I knew it would be a trashy B-movie, and it is. But, it's boring! Neveldine and Taylor were clearly held back by the studio. The real problems lie in the script, although I like the concept of the Rider originally being a spirit/angel from heaven, but corrupted and twisted by the Devil to suit his needs. I think the directing is fine, some great camera work in the action scenes and Cage is great fun to watch. Also really like how the Rider itself is portrayed, like an actual demon, a horror movie character. Whenever the Rider is on screen, it's a blast. Shame that the Rider is one screen for probably about 20 minutes.

Master and Commander: Far Side of the World. One of my favourite movies. Crowe and Bettany are awesome. All the characters are awesome. It has young actors who are not mind numbingly annoying too. This should have won the best picture Oscar ahead of Return of the King. This coming from a total LOTR fanboy.

Resident Evil (2002)

Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)

Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

Resident Evil 4 (2010)

They really should have stopped at #3. That last one was a real stinkfest.

That poster is deceiving in that Cage doesn't look anything like that in the movie.

That's the first one.

Yeah, once Cage died I turned to my girl and said that this movie just went downhill fast.

He was awesome in this movie. He turned up his over the top craziness to 11, hell even 12.

I love those last scenes from the strip club on.

"FUUUUUUUUUU...." :woot:

Cage - "Who sent you man!?"
Cage - "Who sent you man!?"
Killer - "Sam F'ing Peckinpah"
Cage - "YEEEAAAAAGGGH!"

My friends and I quote that last line to eachother all the time. I can quote him all day.

"HI ****ing YA!"

"THESE ****ING HANGERS!"

"HRGGAAGH... SOMEBODY TRIED TO KILL MEEE MAANNN!"

Cage said his favorite line he's ever said on film was, "Viva ****ing France, man!"

This and Vampire's Kiss could be his Cagiest roles. He's definitley past 10. You must watch Vampire's Kiss if you haven't.

You've of course seen "Nicolas Cage Losing His ****." I also love "The Evolution of Nicolas Cage's Hair" and "The Greatest Nicolas Cage Moments."

Trainspotting - 9/10

I just love Danny Boyle and his style. Only he can make the best film about drug addiction and make it fun, disgusting, disturbing and hilarious all at once. There's some deeply disturbing stuff going on, but if a director can get that kind of reaction, he did his job. Robert Carlyle is the absolute **** in this film. Like all his other films I've seen, it's better than Slumdog Millionaire.

Yeah, I've seen Vampire's Kiss. Had me laughing when he's jumping up on tables in the office and chasing down his secretary.

Carlyle was indeed the ****.

"Alright, no one leaves until we find out which c*** did it!" :woot:

Cage doing the alphabet in Vampire's Kiss gets me every single time.

As for Danny Boyle, have you ever seen A Life Less Ordinary? It's awesome. Ewan McGregor, Cameron Diaz when she was still hot and less annoying. Plus it has Delroy ****ing Lindo!

Haven't seen that one yet. I'll add it to my Netflix cue.
