Beautiful Boy

7/10

Decent, dead son movie because of the school shooting twist.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 1/10- makes the first one look really good in retrospect.

^Impossible because that's the score the score I gave the first film. It will have one decent week at the box office and drop like a stone. Count on it.

8.5/10

I should watch that again. Takes Christianity seriously and then to a logical and terrifying conclusion.

Wayne's World 2
Wayne's World
Austin Powers: Goldmember
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade (1989)

Oh why couldn't they leave well enough alone...

Because they were many fans who wanted more&still actually enjoyed Crystal,Plus it's still about money!!

IF YOU preferred Crusade to be the last one then that's your own OPINION..That basically means ****!!

The Iron Lady

A well-made movie in many ways. Neat narrative, nice cinematography and fantastic acting. Unfortunately the story itself, that will say Thatchers life is not always that interesting. Her personality catches me more often though and it is an overall worth seeing movie.

3/5

A Bittersweet Life

My intention was to watch this film a little more analytically this time, but I couldn't. I let myself get enveloped by the artistry and quiet sadness of the film. Cannot wait to check I Saw the Devil. Not only that, but me and two mates will be headed to L.A. next January to hopefully catch the premier of Last Stand.

The Monster Squad

This was the bomb yo. Can't believe I never got to see this as a kid. I loved it now, I can't imagine how much I would've lost my **** over this in my younger years.

That sucks that you only now got around to it. This was one of those movies my friends and I would watch constantly when we were growing up. I haven't seen it since then though. My roommate/buddy got it on Blu-ray and I was afraid to watch it. I didn't think it would hold up that well and I would rather keep my memories of it from when I was a child.

The Grey: 4/5

Another great film for the start of 2012. Liam Neeson proves he is awesome once again. So many great underlying philosophical themes and ideas in the film as well. The plane crash scene was so loud in my theater, it just worked so well.

I do have some gripes with the film, as well as the annoying shaky camera and blatantly obvious CGI wolves. It's still a great film overall.

That's understandable, but I watched it for the first time a couple of years ago and I honestly really enjoyed it on its own merits. It has a lot of genuinely good childishly carefree fun but it's definitely not kiddie film. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised if you re-watched it.

Paths of Glory

10/10

One of the most emotionally hard-hitting war movies I've ever seen. And on top of all its ideas about the problems of military politics, it shows many problems with law in general. I've seen five of Kubrick's movies, and I'd say this one is the best.

I'll have to give it a watch again and see if I still enjoy it. Hopefully it held up well.

It's the perfect pick-me-up after having watched A Bittersweet Life the night before.

I bought it immediately when it finally hit dvd, and it's not quite as good as my memories of it are. I still like it quite a bit. It's a film that would never be made today. A heart to heart scene where dad is blowing cigarette smoke all over his kid? Dracula calling a 5 year old a *****? Kids with guns? Genuinely scary monsters? Wall-to-wall death? Some of the best practical make-up effects of all time? Would never happen outside of an R rating in the 2nd decade of the 21st century and it would never be the same within it. But it does have its groan worthy cheesy moments (the montage set to a song about shopping? Yeesh.). I like it hell of a lot now, but it was a perfect movie when I was 9. I can't say it's perfect now.
