Its been proven time and time that the Summers brothers are some pretty powerful mofos
So why would Sinister pursue his genetic interests in them, rather than the parent(s). Considering the mother is already dead, their father still remains alive (I think). Wouldnt it be more logical for Sinister to go after the father, and maybe even collect samples of the remains from the mother, to conduct his genetic experiments? They obviously have the source material to make powerful offspring, and its a safer route for him, rather than confronting either of the brothers directly
Although we still have yet to see how he would react to the existence of Vulcan.
Sinister could also collect genetic material in a covert way too. Collecting samples from a hairbrush, toothbrush, washcloth, or anything they (Alex or Scott) come in physical contact with. He could disguise himself as a janitor and clean out Scotts or Alexs room while theyre on a mission. Or, have an insider/spy to infiltrate the mansion to collect it for him.
Also, why stop with the Summers family. Why not pursue other powerful mutants with the same kind of vast potential, if not more?
And, even if Sinister was able to produce such a being from their genes, what would Sinister gain from creating such a powerful being? Chances are, he wont be able to control it after a given point Which also defeats the purpose in his philosophy of Survival of the fittest Because hed probably die at the hands of his own creation(s).
