What's with Gotham Knights?

Um...did issues 73 and 74 really kill the Gotham Knights series? I know they were bad but...I thought if anything the next issue would not have to do with them...or at least was hoping that.

He was...until DC made him a regular one in GK. Honestly......they ruined such a great character with horrible writing and even worse execution.
