I'm starting to get back into comics after a few long months of recovery...What's worth reading in the Marvel Universe??? I sorta have been following Civil War...so in addition to Civil War whats worth reading. Don't give away too many spoilers or anything.

No but seriously, go back and get the Brubaker trades on Captain America and see if you can catch up good stuff. A little Daredevil to spice things up as well. I dont know your tastes but She-Hulk might be a good fit, Moon Knight is all nice and dark.

I've been thinking about Daredevil...I've been hearing a lot of good things about the most recent arc. She-Hulk was another...I love She-Hulk...hate the Hulk but I love She-Hulk....Hows the Planet Hulk arc is it good?

Planet Hulk is wrapping up, so if you can get all the back issues go for it. Though I think its better to wait for trades and hook up with Hulk next year in World War Hulk.

About Daredevil, you may want to go back and check out Bendis and Maleev's run on the title which leads up to the current one.

For sure I'll be checking out Daredevil...

Is Nextwave any good? I heard it was going to be cancelled is that true. I was following it in the beginning.

I just hope my shop has what I'm looking for...maybe ebay...are there any good sites to order from?

I personally dont like Nextwave, but it is popular amongst the folks here, its worth a checking out.

For trades and hardcovers, Amazon and Instocktrades are good.

For single issues, Midtowncomics.com, Milehighcomics.com, Dreamlandcomics.com, dcbs.com. Are all good.

And I must link you to this thread, I get commission:

Runaways. Anything and everything Runaways.

Oh! And Young Avengers too.

X-Factor. Otherwise, you're a loser.

Daredevil is arguably the best title out there right now. Definately buy "The Devil In Cell Block D" which is Brubaker's first trade, it's awesome. Astonishing X-Men is also a quality title, although you might want to catch up to that by getting the first three arcs before this next one that's coming up.

Civil War
Amazing Spider-Man
Cable & Deadpool
X-Factor
Runaways
Young Avengers
Punisher: War Journal
Immortal Iron Fist
She Hulk
Ms. Marvel

If you're a Punisher fan, then pick up Punisher: War Journal. It's a new series that differs for the MAX title and this issue also ties to the events in Civil War #5. Everything else I said are good reads as well.

she-hulk
young avengers
squadren supreme
ultimates

lol. And you're wrong, it wasn't a mini... it was a MAXI.

The core X-titles are all good right now (as well as New X-Men and X-Factor). Astonishing X-Men and "Adjectiveless" X-Men start new story arcs with their next issues, while Uncanny X-Men is seven issues through a twelve-part story.

Captain America is absolutely the best book the market, and, since it's on hiatus til February, there's plenty of time to catch up on the four trades and three "Civil War" tie-ins. Seriously, buy it.

Civil War,the main book.Don't feel compelled to pick up alot of tie-ins.

Captain America.

Daredevil.

Incredible Hulk.

Moon Knight.

Immortal Iron Fist.

Punisher War Journal.

Ultimates 2.

Young Avengers.

It's a really good funny comic. Issue 12 will be its last. If you like it, you might like Cable & Deadpool, although Nextwave is sillier and more light-hearted.

Yeah that was a great mini.:o
12 issues would be a maxi. :o

And it's coming back anyway, so you're stoopid. :o
