So what is the life that you've always envisioned yourself having? What kind of job would you have? Where would you live? Would you have a spouse and kids, or just a lifelong partner or several? What is the life that you've always wanted And at this point in your life, have you achieved some of these things? Have you forgotten about them and stopped trying because you found something better, or do you just flat out believe that it will never happen, and must therefore settle for an alternative life?

I've always imagined myself having a wife and two, maybe three kids, living pretty decently for ourselves in the suburbs. I'd be working as a graphic designer, while also working on some graphic novels of my own, because an injury kept me from becoming a professional baseball player. While I haven't achieved any of this, I still feel like its possible to have it all, and little by little, all of the pieces will fall into place.

I don't like to think of where I am and look back and see where I have failed, but I am looking toward the future. If all goes well for me, I'll be a writer/director. I'd like to live in NY (probably Queens). Hopefully I will keep busy and travel a lot for work. Eventually, I'd like to have a lifelong partner and 1 kid later down the line (no more than 2!).

If I get these things, I'm set for life. I think I have made strides in this direction, so I am happy with where I am

Ultimate power, subjugation of all in my path, daily bacon feasts.

Power ball winner. I would like to get something for once without earning it.

One that doesn't involve an internet addiction. :o

Sex with super-models, fame, fortune, career happiness and being able to maintain a fit body without going to the gym would all be nice too I suppose.

Not what it is right now, that's for sure. As for my ideal life, well, that's like a dream, and dreams to me are sentimental, and I don't often share sentimental things on a public internet forum full of people I don't care about. :yay:

But it's a good question.

Thing about "ideal lives" is they're impossible to attain. If you got everything you ever wanted, you would still want something more. You need that ambition and drive. If everything is perfect, then there's nothing else to do in life.

Not this one. I think about it enough, thanks for depressing me.

Writing and acting really. Or perhaps just living in the Old West.

My ideal life: Win cash for life, live in a hotel and watch The Simpsons all day.

My ideal life probably wouldn't be too much of a difference from my ****** one that I have right now, I'd probably just ask for a lot of money.

Does our ideal life have to be somewhat rooted in realism? Like, in my ideal life I could fly and shoot lasers out of my eyes, but that might make some people insane with jealousy. So I guess I'll just stick to riches and women.

Well, as Tupac once said time to start making some "changes." If things are going on that are out of your control (such as family being sick, or financial trouble) that's one thing, but if you're not happy with how you're leading your life then make some active changes.

My ideal life would be a loving wife & children & a nice country home away from it all. A bank account wih a particular number & LOTS of zeros behind would be great too.

To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

I would love to be rich and never have to work again. I'd spend all my days doing whatever I wanted.

Fantasy: Win lottery, buy castle in Switzerland, and purchase Anne Hathaway as my sex slave.

Realistic: Start a successful business, get out early and start a family, then travel and enjoy myself.

So what is the life that you've always envisioned yourself having?
Being finaically stable, living by the ocean. And waking up to a job that I enjoy everyday.

What kind of job would you have?
A job that's helping others.

Where would you live?
An apartment by the beach.

Would you have a spouse and kids, or just a lifelong partner or several?
Single.
I don't want kids or be married.
What is the life that you've always wanted?
Being financially stable.

And at this point in your life, have you achieved some of these things?
I have my own business hairdressing for under privileged people. So i do help others.

Have you forgotten about them and stopped trying because you found something better, or do you just flat out believe that it will never happen, and must therefore settle for an alternative life?
I've never forgotten about my dreams. Even tho there have been points in my life when my dreams seemed so far out of reach.

Get about $100 million in the bank and just go from there.
