A thread to post quotes on the purpose of life.

This is my fave and well, I wrote it when I was in a horrible matter. I wrote it today.

Because, life is a gift, a gift of courage and love. Life may be bad at times, but why would God create a bad life?
The answer is No, and we must accept that. Dont take life for granit because it just might take you for granit.
The life you live in now, is a good life, no matter how bad or evil you are, because you have hope aside for you.
All you need is a light and a pickaxe because life is like a mine, you have to look and try to find the purpose
and always, always, you will find the answer in the end and let me tell you, the answer is good."

This is, by far, my perennial favorite of all I've ever heard. It's helped to remind me that no matter how awful life gets, all that's necessary is to turn back to God. So long as we have the breath of life in us, we have a chance for hope, purpose, and redemption. So, our destiny should be to pursue those with all determination, and live in selfless obedience, not selfish ambition.
