When this concept for the Spider-Man 3 movie was viewed as a good idea by most of the people on the Spider-Man 3 board. Slag and I were atacked for saying that it's stupid and untrue to the books.

it always jumps the shark, it always regains some kind of credibility, it all depends on who are the most popular posters at the moment

and something I've found increasingly disturbing is how the quality of popular posters has decreased a lot, there's a long quality gap between S.I.G. and Bison, Blight and muscleforsupes, and many others

everytime there's a new fad, being it shadaloos, thread games that only serve as a fast way to increase post counts, tb's, unjustified bannings, nightclubs, owl pics, desertions by older, quality posters who grow increasingly disgusted with the increasing stupidity levels allowed in these places, youtubes, owned pics, ytmnd's, all your base are belong to us'es, hottest this or that threads, etc, the hype jumps the shark

every time a new super hero movie is anounced, and we get a new batch of newbies (which is becoming increasingly accelerated) arrives, and with them the probabilities of zealous posts, new, incresingly stupid fads and the like

but like a very popular mod hinted at me some time ago when I made this exact same remark: "if you don't like it, **** off somewhere else" (not exactly the words used, but pretty much the gist of it), since then, I still come very often, but not as often as I used to, the same with my postings

but like I said before, it always gets better
